@@neeri1837 I am in the process of creating and posting the full writing course. Hopefully in 2 days it will be done. @@FluentTOEFLokie... can you please include in your lecture how to use "Nevertheless"? I'm always hesistant to use this because I feel that I might misuse it. Thanks in advance.
@@neeri1837 "nevertheless" is like "however" but "nevertheless" emphasizes the emotion of defeating the odds. "However" is more emotionally neutral. For example, "The book made a huge impact on me as a child, the title, however, did not.".....in this sentence, "however" makes sense but "nevertheless" does not. For example, "I had never trained for a 5K before; nevertheless, I was confident I could win this race."......in this sentence, both "however" and "nevertheless" make sense. Btw, in my opinion, there will not be a lot of opportunity to use "nevertheless" on the TOEFL. Perhaps on a certain writing question or speaking task 1. But depending on the questions, you might not have an opportunity to use it at all.
Thanks for pointing that out! I added the answer to the study guide. It is C--"It is located where people expected to find a planet." This is implied when he says "Ceres was in the right place, the missing spot, but it was way too faint to be a planet."
