If say freeze is not available then fury does not have sect counter for the match. Same goes for if injury is unavailable then shield has no counter. The "disable a faction" artifact feels like a trap since its also make you lvl up 2 lvl from *1 and *2 Also delete a skill thats come from that faction and the faction you want to get Meanwhile the "gain money/lvl" is easy and big investment imo. Getting to lvl 8 with all skill on *1 already net you 40 gold/round. In 10 round you already better than chinese card that get 400 gold
Shadow fiend is easily the strongest character in this mode. If you get him to lvl 15 (take the 50% mana regeneration talent) and have the rare that gives mana upon using ult maxed then you instantly kill your opponent everytime
It's actually SO funny, it gets even crazier if crit is in the pool because you can get mana on crit, and ult guarantees a crit, which means that even if you get frosted, you almost always have enough mana to chain cast anyway. Only counter to it is False Promise and Wraith King Ulti plus holy light detonation on omni
I think that was removed because the bonus mana regeneration was buggy allowing you to loop ulties with infinity mana But even with that I still think juggernaut is the most broken one
The thing with all random is that you will be left with bunch of useless sects levels and abilities later on. In practice, we only need to get courier lvl 15 for all 3 talent buffs. Extra levels after that do pretty much nothing. Ofc with each sect level you get bonus stat + purple/gold abilities cards, however base on the lobby situation it may not be needed anymore. Example: You randomize everything and get a lvl 10-15 in wards sect, but no one in the lobby upgrade in wards. Your hero also doesn't benefit by wards upgrade as well. So your randomize sect levels contribute nothing, while those points could be attribute to your main sect which bring much more value overall. Another reason for not randomize abilities is that each lobby will play around a set number of sects base on the hero choice. What you want to do is maximize your main sect advantage while try to minimize the opponent hero's sect which counter you. For instance, you have Omni with healing that is good against viper dps poison but bad against nuker like SF ult. Your strategy will be: 1. Focus on upgradeing heal sect, to make sure u always win against poison hero 2. Lower the chance of getting nuke, by slowing mana rate of the nuker or decrease the dmg output from ult. By randomize everything, you will be a jack of all trades but master of none. Your healing is there, but not good enough because viper dude have the anti-heal skill. You have some extra Injury, Freeze, Fury points that do chip debuff on the nuker, but he's able to survive that and nuke the hell out of you. In a match, you will be in top 4 for half of the game due to the extra level, but fall apart incredibly fast after. That's not to say random build is bad, as long as your main sect abilities are upgraded. But ALL random build is not the way.
Freeze jugg honestly only working because they go unbelievably lucky to find the freeze so quickly. With average rng they just die before the build takes off.
Poison bricks the gamemode for me every round poison is in the pool it's automatically been the most damage output especially when fury or Frost are in too
Nah, wards actually counter poison and freeze imo. The longer wards survive during combat, the better it effect brings. And poison/freeze is dps, therefore it won't finish off wards in time, especially wards player usually have healing as their 2nd/3rd main sect. To counter wards there are 2 ways: 1. Burst damage so wards gone instantly: Ult, crit or atk speed built. Preferably hero who specialize in 1 sect only (or you build it that way). Ward hero basically dogshit after they lost all wards/before new wards spawn. 2. Have a long-drawn fight with better sustainability: healing or strength sect. Ward build is a jack of all trades: they do and tank damage at the same time, but not excel in any. Any full strength/healing build simply outrun ward when play correctly. Ward built in general and NP specifically is not that strong. NP himself is pretty shit until he got thay gold skill that spawn 2nd wards from start, without it's easy to fall out of top 4 even at full build + the other gold skill card. As for other hero with ward as 2nd main sect (I only see Ult + Ward tbh), they are okay but there's always better combo for them. At the worst case when u can't beat ward, usually someone else can, try to beat that guy instead lol.

There's an artifact that states" every time you get 4 of one sect in a row you get another from that sect". When people get that early they roll all their money for their sect and usually get it to 40 before round 10

If injury isn't available. Evade is also stupid strong. Going Riki with evade and regen is stupid.

So frustrating to watch you say "need to get injury" then immediately skip over several cards that would apply injury.
Baumi doesn't seem to utilise debuffs to counteract enemy buffs like shield or fury very much. Counteracting fury becomes stronger seems veeery useful
Regen builds really pop with the health/poison item that gives poison for every 400 health lost. It does like 70 % of damage in runs where you get it.

Could you try an all random build? I tried one with 90% random, since I wanted to reach higher, and it worked out quite well

when u playing tinker. if u max the sect health. and u get the lifebreak+lvl15 talent 10% increase = u can 1hit enemies. 100%lifebreak damage
