Viktor, I would love to see a segment on how you sharpen your knives. Also a cooking tip. Pompano have delicious meat on their heads above their eyes. Gut them and stuff cavity with crab stuffing and bake. You will love this method. You and Brook are an inspiration. Love both of your videos.
My family is from the Caribbean (Trinidad) and king fish is luxury. It’s the most sought after fish in the ocean! POST MORE ON YOUR COOKING PAGE PLEASE!!!
Hey Victor, at first I was not keen watching you prepare fish not considered table fare, but now I enjoy the skills you acquired and people describing the taste and texture. Mahalo and Aloha from the Big Isle "🤙"
Awesome gaff shot. Wow! What a beautiful boat, my jaw is still on the floor .lol I could watch you and Brook fish all day. You guys are MUCH BETTER than watching tv. I’ve learned SO MUCH from you 2. Thanks to you and Brook I’m living my best life here in Florida. It was a struggle to get my husband to agree to move here (I had lived here before) but since purchasing a boat and getting out on the water my husband told me that he’s NOT hating living here. I told him it would be great and so far it had been but the boat and fishing are the cherries on top. Kingfish is one of my favorite fish to eat. Yes, the skin is delicious! Hi Brook.🤗 So it’s been confirmed.......everyone loves your cooking.😁 Have a great day.
What exactly happened? I can’t imagine whoever was driving was their first day driving a boat, so something must have caught you guys with your pants down....
I think it's crazy how people think kingfish is not good. I think it's excellent. Like Brandon said, take care of your fish. Bleed it, ice it, cut out the blood line and enjoy.
Congrats to the winners of the Dexter knives! If you didn't win, buy one anyway using Vik or Brooke's code. My Father loved my 6' flat boning knife so much, I had to get him one of his own!!! He is using it in the kitchen as well. These are SHARP and very affordable knives. Thanks as always for the great content Vik!
WOW!Suprised I missed this episode 🤔..4 mnths ago... Glad i caught it 👍👍👍Awsome stuff Vic, both you and Brook! . good videos.. I Dont watch no MSM Television anymore..True Story..only when i visit other Folk, but even then if they are watching Television,i will make an excuse and I will nicely walk out side and wait... I Started watching DMFD 5 Yrs back and gradually found all you Guyz along the way, BlueGabe, Stantanz Farm, Florida Fishing, and many others like Ace Fishing Adventures all the Channels you reccomend on your Video shoots.. Keep Em Coming..👍👍👍
Hey Victor. Amelia island has a railroad bridge that rotates . I live here and its crazy when you have to wait on the train to take your boat down the Amelia river. I'm sure you've know of Amelia island. Great place to live or visit. Good fishing too. Check it out if you've never been here.
I love kings, and it wasn't until I started watching RUclips videos that I heard how many people talk them down. I dont't think they're in the same class as wahoo or tuna, but it's still good stuff. As far as the skin, I feel like the skin is great if you're eating the fish fresh, but it seems to make the fish taste strong if you freeze with the skin on.
Hey Vic I'm a big fan of you and Brooke love watching your and Brookes Vids during this Quarantine I'm from New York City so we're the epicenter of this damn pandemic so there is absolutely no fishing going on up here can't wait to grab my rods and hit the water til then keep entertaining me with you're awesome channel.... You and Brooke stay safe ok
I’m from Trinidad and our country loves shark we season it and cook it different hopefully you can look it up one of the famous restaurant to visit is Richards bake and shark
I think it would be awesome for you guys, BlueGabe, DMFD and GaleForce Twins should do a collab catch clean and cook and see whose Recipe is the best with limited ingredients.
I just got back from fishing off Port Everglades a few hours ago. Got cut off by a couple kings and my brother lost a sail, but I landed a red grouper on a live ballyhoo. Great day of fishing after waiting for over a month. I've seen a mutton snapper come near-surface for a live ballyhoo, but have you ever seen a grouper do that? I'm still shocked...
I just caught 7 kings yesterday and we cut some into steaks and I grilled them up first I coated them with oil then put on some old bay and lemon pepper they were so good
Nice Mango Salsa. What we call a Kingfish in Australia is what you guys would call a California Yellowtail or a Yellowtail Amberjack. Your Kingies look very much like what we would call a King Mackerel. It's interesting the difference in names across the globe fo same or similar species of fish. Anyway, in saying that, most aussies that get a hold of ANY of out many mackerel species love eating them. Some are more prized than others but they are all good eating.
Darkest pre cooked king mackerel I've seen on your channel but looked white after cooking. Seared tuna looked delicious. Need more footage of Brookie landing fish.
would like to see more of how you set up your rigs / set ups, and hook baits when you are out on the water i come here to learn new ways to fish i live in new york and im planning on moving down i have no idea how to fish in the waters down south so if you have videos you think i should watch or if you could make one going over the fish and what you would do to catch them that would be awesome p.s. shark fishing is my favorite
Try using the 3 crab brand fish sauce not as salty but full of flavor it's some what an higher brand the more pricey it gets the smoother the flavor and less salt
Not knocking you on your seasoning but try Everglades original and paprika on Spanish with the skin on. It makes that skin taste so awesome! I know you have been told about Everglades before but you should really try this

Hi Vik. I'm trying to find your cooking channel. Can you post it again? I can't wait to see.

In the Mediterranean we never skin any fish. Fish skin is full of goodies!
I got 2 black fins,a king, and lost 2 more black fins .Yesterday lost so many King’s to cut offs, out of Miami.180ft to 185 fat is where the bite is at
Saw you are using Peanut oil to cook. Any reason why? Any downside of using Avacado oil ?
Lol "it smells like it was at least 30 lbs" i'mma use that
