      Why?

    • @helentaylor4911
      @helentaylor4911 4 года назад +17

      Because if someone is watching you to get an idea of your routine. You would be hard to judge. By lowering the amount of cash in the building you would lose less if someone decided to hold you up at the end of the day.

      @@haroldvillard7590 - Rabbit has said they get $14, plus benefits, plus time and half for overtime on weekends. The eBay guy gets $17 plus 7% of sales, because he has higher-level skills than a warehouse hand. And this is Green Bay, not NYC or SF.

    Amazing results... you clearly can't do it every week, but it's a great way to blow out all of the smaller store returns and stuff that you get in those pallets, while making your money back on the pallets by selling on Ebay the really good stuff. Overall, a great business model. I suspect you could do 2 or 3 of these sales a year.

    Another approach to a bag sale is to sell people the bags as they come in the door. We do that for book sales and it works pretty well. If you have distinctive bags, then you know that people are not bringing them in themselves.

    I enjoyed this video. Like to see what sells, and it's giving me ideas.
    You can donate Bath Bombs to Assisted Living places. They love those things.

    Congrats on a successful sale ! Yes, I sat and watched the whole thing. No, I have nothing better to do :oP I was just curious, with all the 100's of pallets coming in all the time, how do you get rid of the excess empty wood pallets ? I'm sure you save some for in house need but what about all the others ?

      The ones we don’t use for shipping get picked up by a local pallet distributor.

    Dear Rabbit please tell the Mrs. Greese etc. Can be gotten out of your clothing if you brush the area with dawn dish liquid. And an old toothbrush. Blue works best.

    Can't believe I watched the whole thing - your fault I drank too much coffee today. Looks like it will be hard to beat this giant sale but really won't surprise me if you do.

    "Sold em all. Dont see any left." I've done retail since 1980. Self employed resale... On a sale like this I usually suspect most those smaller expensive items where I cant watch ended up in someone's purse or pockets if I didnt personally see them come to the checkout, but wella they are all gone.
