I'm also user of Tata Punch ( Accomplished Model ).
Overall car is fantastic in running and milage wise. Just having one issues and I believe most punch users agree on this that car doesn't have the enough power while gear up . Once you maintain decent speed no one can beat . Got fuel average approx 20-22 on highway and 10-13 on city driving ( Delhi traffic ).
You are a champ so you definitely rectify the issue if found any even better than company's engineer .

Thanks really helpful process for buying any 2nd hand car. Only thing to add would be to check with an obd2 scanner also if possible.
Check mileage and brake noise again.
Check for noise while running with AC ON
Rest you are a champion.
Overall car engine, suspension is superb.
Brake clutch distance is less
AC is super cool. If you don't feel excessive noise while running in AC, this car is worth buying. Maintenance is affordable. Price is ur decision

Punch is a good car. The price is high. 15% deduction from the ex showroom price is a good starting point. Do not bargain from on road price.
The Car Condition In 6k km is very rough by seeing scratches and a dent near the door handle
But if it offers you 1.5L Discount than Surely Go for it .
Rs. 6.25 Lac is ok considering 20% first year depreciation and of course I would prefer punch over brezza.

Car seems to be good being new hardly 6months if no faults are their you can be lucky being prices increased month on month
6.25 is good deal for 6000 kms running punch with some assosories fitted aftermarket. I would go for it.

Going by the condition of the car, I can safely say that the current owner has lost interest in the car. If you notice the missing wheel cap, the amount of filth in and all over the car, the stain on the seat, it clearly gives you an idea that the owner doesn't want to shell out even a single penny for up keeping of the car. Also, one does tend to loose interest when top trim features are missing in lower version
The car is really very good except for the power churned out by its 1.2 L engine, it gives you hard time for pickup or overtaking. Bus yeh gaadi yahi pe kasauti pe kharri nahi utarti.

Power kam hai but iss price me itna hi hai shayad. Maruti’s cars have better pickup but then you do not get good build quality in their cars. So we can’t get everything in this price range.

@@amit2372 Agreed, what I think is that sometimes perception comes into play, I have been driving Verna 1.6 D and CVT City. May be I have become accustomed to higher torque at less RPM. In the initial period of Punch ownership, I struggled a lot to maintain the optimum pace/power/torque
Punch is sa nice car it's engine is good but linear torque is less due to three cylinder engine but is only fell when you driving in hills but the overall car is nice ,and its a highest seeling car of tata after Nexon, it's monthly seeling 10 thousand unites so it's good car, just the price of car is little high so get some more discount
Apart from scratch, there appears to be a dent near the door handle of the front left door. Brake noise needs to be diagnosed again, may be a problem. My best price is ₹ 5 Lakh.

Screen is aftermarket installed. So probably the default warranty of 2 years will not be applicable anymore. Mileage in city is upto 15 and highway maybe 20.

Punch is my personal favourite...... Brezza is love.... So make your own decision
Go for old diesel Nexon 18 to 19 model comes under 7 lakh ...New brezza come with cheap quality..i have check..

You should go for breeza as it would 1st owner but if you resale this car the resale value of tata s car is very low Maruti breeeza resale is higher then tata cars though average of Maruti is higher than tata if you have concern about safety then also search for nexon bs6engine and compare breeza this would might help you

Definitely no because 3 cylinder engine with vibrations. Go for Brezza which is better in terms of refinement and also VFM 👍. You should enquire why it’s owner is selling may be the engine vibration 🥲

I would suggest 5.90L is worth buying or you can go with the new Breeza since it has a more refined engine, very good resale value, better service than tata, more spacious than punch, 4 star safety and new is always new. You will not have to worry for the next 5-6 years by buying a new car.

Bhai Brezza base is 9 L on road delhi and VXI is 10.6 L on road delhi.
3-4 lac rs matter karte hain bhai. Agar punch se brezza pr jao to ek jyada responsive engine hi to milta hai aur kya milta h ? Yahan milti hai build quality or NGK Iridium plugs dal diya to lag khatm.
I would again say, save this huge amount and go with Punch. Get the scratches fixed and get it detailed for 30K and enjoy your Brand New Punch.

Just sold tigor after 5 years, 60000 km..
1. Spark plugs bad after every 7000 km, company unable to tell reason
2. No on road assistance in outside city for 3 hours
3. Spare parts, even a spark plug not successful aftermarket.... Only had to go to company
4. Tata service men unable to pin point problems, like stalling on highway with AC... I told them without AC no problem, still they changed car fuel pump....
5. Missing in engine, vibrations at 50000 km.... They said it's normal as it is 3 cylinder, whereas, I had to tell them clean fuel injectors.... after that became ok...
6. AC radiator fan had lot of vibrations during pickup.... Company said clutch plates r weak, whereas my view was fan bearing.... So their estimate was huge, n I sold the car to get Maruti Ignis , peaceful car

Are you sure the noise during braking is coming from the drivetrain? If not, then check the spare tire position and where it is secured properly.

Agar mujhe in dono maise leni hoti toh mai new brezza pr jata uske reasons 1) No doubt punch good car hai safety n all me lekin mujhe uska body shell pasand nhi aya aise lagta hai ki kisi hatchback ko steroid deke fulayi gayi ho lekin Brezza proper shape me hai aur achchi bhi dikhti hai aur punch se jyada spacious hai with 4 star safety which is not bad. 2) Maruti ki service aur spare parts ka koi issue nhi hai jabki mere kuch friends ke pas tata ki hi gadiya hai lekin wo hamesha service aur spare parts available na hone ki shikayat karte hai . 3) agar brezza me cng lagana ho tabhi bahot space bachega uske boot me lekin punch me shayad!!! .....One important thing :- Mai agar gadi lunga to mere pas jyada samay tak rahegi (atleast 10-12 years) iss base pe upar points pe focus karke mai brezza lunga over punch.

Bhai engine to aap ne check kar hi liya he aur aapko malum bhi hoga iska service cost kitna rahega kyu k aap hi isko maintain rakhoge aur petrol engine ka service costing wese bhi jyada nahi hota he. Bas ek baat jo muje lagt ii he k aap aur aapki family safe rahegi punch me jyada brezza k comparison me. Kyuki high per Jane k baad aap chahe kitni bhi safe drive Karo magar papa k londe se aap ko ye gadi safe rakhegi sure. 5 10 hajar k samne mat dekhna aakh bandh kar k ye deal Lelo.

Go for nexon xe base model
Bhai mere paas Tigor 2018 model hai. Kafi jyada rusting issues aathi hai 5 - 6 years ke baad. Mere friends ke paas bi Tiago 2016 model hai aur unke car mei bhi bahut jyada rusting aai hui hai. Engine and suspension is good. But after 5 years all the suspension will have some play and rubber bushes will get cut and the services guys will quote 15k+ for rear suspension change and 20+ for front suspension.
I am sure the owner does not want to go through all this so he is selling the car. TATA cars are no doubt good but rusting issues is what is very irritating. Rust from under the running board, near the dikki and near engine bay within 5 years. I have used ALTO from 2004 till today. And swift from 2006 till today no rusting in them. Tata cars have very bad rusting issues.
plus the brake paddle is weird in the placement. I too have the same issue

Acc to me, 6L would be a good price, 6.2L at max. You may also wait for Citroen C3 launch, it probably has better engine and suspension.

new brezza is overpriced. This punch looks good. looks like all original car bumper to bumper. Can you tell which model is this? Pure? Adventure? etc.
I think at max you can give 630 for this. suspension, AC, and safety-wise it is way better than brezza.

Dealers and service centers suck. Fit and finish need serious improvement. Rattling starts within a month of use. Electrical parts stop working. Mice get into the cabin and cut the wires. Quality of the parts are below average. Engine fails without warning. Rusts a lot quicker. Frequent visits to the service centers even though you hate them.
Please spend your money on more reliable products like Toyota, Suzuki, VW, and Honda.
Honda jazz also good option to buy
