I expected my little girl A Qing to appear, even if she was young she was brave, smart and kind
The reason I didn't include her, was because I wasn't just doing all women of MDZS, I wanted to include those who had to make tough political decisions, or had to go against the main crowd. Like Mian Mian for instance, she chose her beliefs over acceptance. Jiang Cheng's Mother (I think her name is like yu something but I don't remember) chose the safety of her children over her life. Qin Su confronted Jin Guangyao over something controversial and ended up being killed. Wen Qing sacrificed her life so that Wei Wuxian would be freed of his crimes. I was going more off of the "grey morality" aspect of the show, rather than just every girl. A-Qing has been through a lot, but it was always set in stone what was considered evil (Xue Yang) and what was considered good (Xiao XingChen). She didn't have to face the pressure of the political world, so I decided not to include her. Yes, she sacrifices herself so that Xue Yang is defeated, but it is only to close out her own story, there isn't a greater conflict at play. My apologies if it wasn't to your liking, but I hope this clears up why she wasn't included!

Who girl A Qing?
A-Qing is the girl that lived with Xiao XingChen and Xue Yang at Yi-City. The girl with the bamboo poll, that meets Wei Wuxian as a spirit.
They do empathy on her body, and she eventually helps them kill Xue Yang.
But seriously, female characters in MDZS are really great, I didn't expect that

The characters in this series are beautiful, adapted from a short story, I'm glad I was able to discover it. And the song honestly suits them, not all women can have the power to do justice for someone in particular

I almost responded with "Don't forget Madam Yu" as well, but I thought about how much she cared for Jiang Cheng, and honestly just how bad*ss she is, and couldn't say it haha

Where is A Qing, the girl from the Yi City arc?
I did think about including her, but I decided not to, as I wanted to focus on the adults rather then the children of MDZS. Adults have a different amount of pressure on them to meet certain expectations within the political world, especially when it comes to Wei Wuxian in MDZS. A-Qing is still a child, and while yes she does have an important role in her storyline, she didn't have the role of choosing her beliefs over peer pressure, because she was never put in a "grey" political situation if that makes sense haha.

Where is Madam Jin? I mean having to deal with her husband's infedelity is suffering enough.
This is true, but she doesn't represent the "strong" that I was going for- simply because the only scenes she has are where she's yelling at Jin Zixuan or trying to coax Yanli into coming back with them. That's the only reason I didn't include her. Her scenes just really didn't match the dynamic of the video. If she had confronted Jin Gaungyao or something similar in the donghua, I would have! 💕💕💕
@@emilyfullbuster3293 if you had read the novel, there is a point when she fought back against Lingjiao, that showed that she was a strong woman.
And she fought till her last breath for her clan, saving her son and Wei Wuxian. I think that is enough to prove she is someone amazing
I have read the novel, it's just that the show and scenes I had in order to make the AMV don't show that aspect. She is strong as a character in the book- in the show however there just isn't enough to portray that.

If it's right before that, when she's confronting Jin Zixun, it's episode 19 at 17:22.
