Yeah, Kahaku WAS a weirdo, but you can't blame him for everything that happened
IS. But it isn't he fault, his clan is basically a cult that groomed him from the ripe age of literally 0. And since it isn't the modern day who can even objectively argue that his views are wrong. Another thing is that I think his heart was in the right place, he is just too funked up to be helping anyone and he realises this at the end of episode 19.
It’s his fault that he went crazy and behaved like a yandere, but he didn’t go from scratch, getting up in the morning and deciding: “So today I’m a yandere,” or he didn’t hide an evil essence in himself, and Nokker SPECIALLY brought him to crazy day after day, + concern for Fushi and Bon's general omissions. There is a difference whether the person who went initially, or whether the Monster made him so.
It's all hayayse's fault with her sick obsession she passed down that monster to her great grandchildren. Basically created, They were never able to live their own lives being a vessel for that knocker and her spirit
Every problem is his fault.

This honestly hurt 💔 poor Fushi and Kahaku☹ Kahaku loves Fushi he'd never want to hurt him, ever. He was the one who was concerned for Fushi the most this is so sad😢 I love both of them and seeing Fushi hurting coz he's doing too much wasn't great at all neither was this tragic scene

I saw that episode yesterday it's so sad kohaku love fushi so much and thought the knocker wouldn't turn against him when he was the enemy the whole time.
The voice acting is really good

the dubs are never better. japanese voice acting tropes dont really work in english, its only good when they rework it

Kohaku is truly naive. Kai, Mesar and the other immortal knew the Nokker in his arm was just messing with him. Way too dumb and his obsession with Fushi clouded his judgement.

when I read the manga, I did not immediately understand what kind of glass it was: here you most of all want to protect someone, your second desire is for this someone to notice and love you, only they begin to open up and trust you, like Your Own Hand turns your beloved into mincemeat in front of your eyes, it’s not surprising that Kahaku then did what he did, separately delivers that this is the last moment when they saw each other ... According to 2 parts of the manga, I concluded (and the author directly many doesn't say a thing) that the Hand, when sending people to slaughter with false messages, deliberately drove Kahaka crazy so that it would be easier to control him? I then thought that after the Hand chopped three warriors into minced meat, he rushed to Fushi, although, logically, he should have stayed away from him with such a hand: yes, he was scared as hell, and from the fact that he no longer controls his hand and from the fact that Fushi will drive him away now, and he has nothing more than his love for Fushi: he was disappointed in the family (by the way, in the anime, he took off his apron with the coat of arms of the guards only in Renrill, in the manga immediately after the night with an unsuccessful offer hands and hearts).

@@pabloneruda251 you’re the one that is dumb and naive Kahaku’s entire story is sad, he was treated differently by his clan and never got the affection he desired from Fushi but still did what was best so Fushi wouldn’t get tracked down by the “Church of Bennett” or the Knocker with his remaining memories, He ended up liking fushi for who he was not for appearance (When Fushi had the appearance of a female), His lasts words before death makes this even sadder. I Liked/Hated Kahaku until the last episode

It was more like he was raised in a cult that preached these ideas for generations, so he does have an innate belief that the nekker is on his side, not just because of the nekker, but because of how founded their religion was in believing in that nekker

What's so bad aout the ending? Fushi managed to spread his roots across the world and is now one with everything on the planet. He created the peaceful world without the nockers for his friends to live in.
