Ingredients:
-2 kilo chicken cut onto -32 pieces
-tomatos cut in slices. -5-6 large
-ginger and garlic -a leaping spoon
-medium onions -3
-corrainder powder/dhaniya powder -2.5 heaping teaspoons
-salt -2 teaspoons
-zeera -3 teaspoons
-black pepper (crushed not powder) -2.5 teaspoons
-red crushed chili peppers -3 teaspoons
-coriander -half a bunch
-chopped hari merich -?didn’t saw how much
-moti hari merich for garnish -4-5, don’t cut.
-ginger, cut into sleivers -?didnt say how much
-butter -2 tablespoons
-dry Fenugreek leaves (matie) -4-5 teaspoons
-yogurt -1.5 cup
-oil -a little more than half a cup
Directions:
Warm the oil.
Add the chicken and cook it.
Take the chicken out of the oil once its cooked and now add the onions in that mixture!
Cook the onions to light golden.
Add ginger and garlic mixture.
Flame has been on high. [MIX]
Now add tomatos. [MIX]
About 2-3 table spoons water.
Cover w/ lid. Cook.
After its cooked add all masalas.
Check salt and pepper to taste.
Cook another minute.
Now add the chicken back.
Add yogurt
Now lower the flame to low to medium.
Cover with lid. (for how long?)
Now add the suki matie (the dried Fenugreek leaves)
Add the ginger slivers
Add the cut harie merich
Add dhania
Mix on high flame for one minute
Add butter
Add your big uncut harie merich
Now you just wait for the butter to melt and done.

I will advise you to please fry the onion ,golden brown first and keep it. Then fry the chicken. ye masala jaldi bhi banega aur tasty bhi. Non veg me taste onions ka hi hota hai aur masaalon ka bhi.

I tried this recipe but didn't add Methi, was awesome. I think we have to pick one thing out of Methi or Dhania otherwise the Khusboo of both ingredients mix. Overall this is the best Kadai recipe I tried.

salam, please tell me how to reduce the sweetness of tomatoes? especially in kardhai. i dont understand y my kardhai or those gravies in which i add tomatoes taste sweet no matter how much spice i add. my mother told me to add lemon but that didnt work. may be my tomatoes are sweet in taste. please tell me how to select less sweet tomatoes also. thanks.
