JENNA SPEAKS TO FAMILIES OF BABIES WITH DOWN SYNDROME

Two years ago Jenna was invited by the Down Syndrome Association of Greater St. Louis to speak to families who had a baby born with Down syndrome within the past year. The New Family Brunch was attended by parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, etc. who all had new little bitty loved ones in their worlds that they have the privilege of watching grow into incredible humans like Derek. Derek was recently 22 when this speech was given. Jenna was asked to speak from the perspective of an older sister. We hope you all enjoy this speech as much as we enjoyed watching it back. I have a 36 yr old downs syndrome son. Hes so funny and lovable. His heart is pure gold and down to earth . My son lee lives a group home with other disabilities . I'm so glad he only lives 10 min drive away. Comes home to visit anytime he wants too. I could go on forever telling about him. We live in NY state.
