4:55 it is not from the same albuim as through the fire and flames, but in an interview herrman Li say that heroes of our time was a song written to be as technicaslly difficult as through the fire and flames so your not wrong about having the same feel

The stuff you hear while the picture is on is the stuff that’s been cut out from the radio song. That’s why is weird but if you watch the official video you’ll hear the cut out song.
Also Dragonforce is sick. I definitely disagree that Through the Fire and Flames is more perfect. That to me feels more like a riff salad/solo competition whereas this one has solos that are more tailored towards the epicness of the song. That’s why is my favorite Dragonforce song.
Is crazy to think how far this band has gotten considering Herman Li has said they were never meant to take it serious and it was just a fun thing to do. Shows that music true to the heart will be far better than bs made to consume.
The original music video is a radio edit. It cuts 2 minutes out of the song. That's why the video had spots of just a picture.
The radio edit eliminates not of the intro.

music video played a shortened version of the song, all df songs really suffer from this, this video spliced the video footage into the full song.
Through the fire and flames was the most egregious violation there. They cut nearly 3 minutes off to get it under or around 5 minutes long
tbf every song in Inhuman Rampage is perfect, the issue is they may sound all the same, but man, songs like cry for eternity or the flame of youth are just as good as ttfaf

Yeah, I agree ZP Theart was the boss! Idc to look into them beyond 2010, but you'd dig what I like by them... Like The Last Journey Home and Heart of a Dragon are must-listens!
I'm in the same boat as you. ZP was THE voice for this band. I like the new guy, you know he's carrying on the legacy and stuff, but his voice just doesn't hit the same
Not sure how you like through the fire flames but say dragon force isn’t your cup of tea. Literally half their songs are just like through the fire and flames. You should check out fury of the storm, valley of the damned, black fire, highway to oblivion, there are even more but can’t think of them.
