I played this game a lot as a kid. Driving the Scotland course in the Lancia Delta was my favorite thing to do in the game. The Dakar style stages were awesome too, despite some wonky handling. I loved trying to get out of bounds, too!
I'm pretty sure the water splash sound effects qualify for ASMR. They're so satisfying, I could spend hours just playing in the water on the Easter Island level 🤣
Always had a bit of a thing for this game, fun little arcade racer although it can get a bit brutal in the later levels. If you play 3/4 players via link up you get some exclusive ultra lo-fi tracks, they were crap tbf.
I've never seen the world environment or background objects move a jitter around so much! I'm assuming it's a quirk with the Emulator or its settings. Otherwise, looks like a pretty decent game for the system. Though, the A.I. can look pretty incompetent or just downright murderous. lol
@@jordanblair4077 yeah it is! So wibbly wobbly! I completed it recently on original hardware and boy it's like jelly at times! But it's less obvious due to the lower resolution.
@@volkte37 No. It’s not as bad as in this particular video. Yes it does wobble, as all PS1 games liked to. But it’s incomparable to what’s shown here, especially with all the graphical corruptions.

Old graphics like this look more honest. I feel for playing it. Compare to over hyped light effects and shit on new games.

its not compatible with PGXP. so there are several graphical issues which arent there on real hardware

i got similar graphical issues when running 4X4 EVO on my early-2010's PC's
