I learned how to make my own butter with whipping cream. Wish I real cream straight from the cow. It's wonderful that you show how to make butter. People need to know these skills. Thank you for what you do.

Fantastic!! I can just taste that on a big ol cathead biscuit with some local organic honey that I eat every day from the local Amish general store. Yum!🧈

    Good morning Megan,
That is some beautiful butter. ❤ I used to milk a Guernsey and never got that rich of yellow color out of the cream. Have a wonderful day y'all. From Michigan.

I also use my food processor to make butter. It shocked me the first time I used it, because I had butter before I could say "Butter"!! I found out that room temperature cream makes quicker, nicer butter. So glad your cow is producing this much cream.

Thank you I don't have a cow .But fantastic job. I keep whippy cream for that 2 ingredients biscuit recipe and other good stuff. So on average what you made how does it weigh out. Lately if you can find the cream it's running about the same price as a pound of butter. Have a great day. I love your videos and so proud watching you homeschool, work hard and still keep us posted and great family time with you. Thank you for all you do and share with us. 🙏❤️ God's blessings to you and Andy.

Looks delicious! We had a new baby bull from my first dairy cow today. She’s a Guernsey and her milk is good and rich
That makes us milking 3 daily now - eek! Lots of milk!

I use my mixer. Also, I run mine under cold coke water as I rinse it out. We like using the sea salt for it. Idk why but dang! Great taste when using for cookies or something sweet.

It’s been a good while, but I have made my own butter. I used my mixer to make it, and a tea towel to squeeze out the excess milk, which can be used as buttermilk.

I loved your wooden mold! I've never seen one before. Is it a family heirloom? I make butter in my Kitchenaide and do use my hands and rinse in the sink. There is nothing better than homemade butter!! I love your videos. Megan, keep them coming. You inspire me that I'm on the right track of what life should be!

Love this video. This is just what I've been waiting to see. And what did you do with the butter milk and where did you get the thing you put your butter into.? Never seen that before. Amazing.

It’s a butter mold, they usually sell them at antique stores, I cleaned this one up and put it back to use ☺️

This may be a stupid question. But could you suck the cream of with a turkey baster? If so, would that be faster?
