  • Fixing the bubble problem in Uconnect 8.4 in the 2017 Dodge Challenger.
This is the cheapest solution but not the best, it is more correct to replace the screen with the current version without the bubble problem.
Part number actual version LSD with Touchscreen LA084X01 (SL) (03)
    You will need:
    Isopropyl alcohol
Double sided tape at least 1mm thick
    Lots of tissues
    And a lot of time
All this will cost you less than $20
What I don't like about this solution is that it leaves small marks on the touchscreen, which cannot be removed, they are visible at a certain angle when the screen is turned off.

Did this to my 2018 ram 2500. Unfortunately for me it didn’t last to long, maybe 3 weeks or so and it started ghost touching all over again. I didn’t want to buy a new screen but it got to that point. Found the newest model (SL03) and now back to normal. You would think a recall should have been done for this but I guess that makes to much sense.

If you replaced the original digitizer with a new one, the new digitizer might not be compatible with the device, but you shouldn't rule out a normal defective digitizer either.

@@_demon1k_ I got a OEM S2 for almost 400$ but was worth it. The dealership will replace it for around 500 to 575$. The new screens updated have 5 yr warranty and are not made like the old ones where the glue between the digitizer and the screen have separated. The cost of a new radio is outrageous 750 to 1200 depending on who you go to. Its a rip off. Now if you haven't done anything to radio and it's delaminating you can always call up uniconnect and tell them that you have the old style radio that delaminating and they should open up a case where if you buy the part they will reimburse you. Remember uniconnect makes the radio not Dodge hope this helps. They should have done them recall on all the earlier version screens cuz they all delaminate it's common problem with Dodge Jeep and RAM products.

They told me since my vehicle has 86,000 miles on it even though it’s four years old, they will not replace it because of high miles. I told them it’s a safety hazard. It changes the radio stations while you’re driving and changes the heat temperatures and I said it’s a safety hazard. The guy said he will not replace it but he will put a note for further review, I said this should be a safety recall for these reasons, and I said other people are talking about class action lawsuits against, you guys and he told me they were for the information of the republican party to whoever may or may not give a damn
