Cambodian Forgotten Songs Vol. 1

This CD is a result of one year work of the professionals in traditional Khmer music. Based on a precious 1921 Albert Tricon’s book CHANSONS CAMBODGIENNES, the project started in late 2008 to reproduce eight songs that have been forgotten since long ago.
Through these eight songs, listeners can discover the mindset of the Cambodian people at that time, livelihoods, farmers’ lives and the picturesque nature surrounding them as well as the dawn of love.
