    I totally agree I’ve tried convincing people exactly what you stated in the first few words I live in southeast Iowa on the Des Moines river I have close to a thousand of the very same artifacts you discussed I cannot wait to show this video to my fellow artifact enthusiasts

    Sir , I am here to learn . Thank you for showing these . I'm new at this , but it seems to me that Natives lived here for about say 15 thousand years , and all of these
    " experts " think they know every thing there is to know about artifacts.
    Thank you for the video sir , and pay no attention to these wannabe artifact experts . Have great day Sir

      I've got another video coming out I hope soon. It's gonna be a start on getting lot deeper in to the educational side of it. I'm doing a lot of research on this first so it's been a long time coming. It'll be many new videos on the tribes what and why they made the tools. And of course more of what to look for. How to go about knowing what you have is real. I going to go a lot deeper into this. A new plan. I hope it works out the way I want it to. 🙏 subscribe if you would and I'll let you know when things are ready. It should be soon . I'll help out anyway I can. Thinks.

    On my own journey of discovery, and it helps me when I find these videos.
    When you start noticing tool marks, and similar shapes, not to mention effigies some still with paint or dye's of some kind it's very frustrating the way people react. Thank you for taking the time to share your findings and knowledge.

      So how many years of education do you have. Have you ever really looked at an artifact other then an arrowhead. The only one who needs to be ashamed is you. With only being able to see a video and not taking it into your hands and looking closely at it. You have no idea what your talking about. And for you to say you do, that is a shame.

    Many people think that Native Americans only created "arrowheads and pottery." They don't realize that there's a lot more to find and to study. Many rocks are geofacts ("naturally shaped"), while many were "reshaped by prehistoric civilizations" for their own advantage or use.
    I, myself, have found lots of stuff in my backyard ... and around my vicinity. I do realize that many of my finds are "just rocks,"... yet many that I have are obviously authentic "artifacts."

  • @bloodnthuner

    A lot of people, even archeologists, have such a narrow perspective of what an artifact is. Consider yourself a trailblazer. And don't feel you have to prove anything to anybody.

    Good job buddy, many of the tools I’ve found have the same shape or pattern, some a little larger, some a smaller. I had to learn the hard way, lots of guys only look at things shaped like points, and every thing else are just rocks, it’s really a narrow way of thinking!

    Keep picking up man. I’ve been picking up certain stones since kindergarten. Lol been making primitive weapons for over 30years. I have tons of preforms that are not finished but still plan to finish them. My arrow kit has a bunch of different ones for different kinds of use. If I’m traveling I’ll only bring the basic ones I need. I’ve found stuff I can’t explain either. Your completely right they picked up everywhere they went too.

    That's what a creek or river does is polish stones, you can't see grind or tool marks their are none, that simple.

    • @wayneschoultz9738
      @wayneschoultz9738  Год назад +1

      Exactly what is your point here? Most everything that I have , pretty much all of what I have has tool marks one way or another on it. As a general rule of thumb. If they don't have tool marks on them, i'd usually don't keep them. Now in one of your earlier comments you said something to the affect of one cannot give a true evaluation of any artifact with just a picture . I say let alone tell weather or not it's a true artifact. Now with that being said, I am as sure as it can get that these are artifacts and when I get a comment saying they are not I, I don't bow up being a rude asshole with my little smart-ass comments sounding like I'd fist fight just to prove my opinion should be the only opinion. At least not in a long time. And have never been the one to start it. Some of the comments you have given sound like you have no clue what your talking about. It's almost like your just a redneck trying to pick a fight. Your not sounding vary smart here. I don't think I'll follow your advice. So keep this up and I'll just block you and be done with it. It's that easy. So once again I thankyou for your comments and you have a nice day.

      That is so true my friend and the irony is epic in that it Completely validated the premise my comment stands on. Stones don’t Reproduce but mega fauna do and when they were laid down in the fossil beds some of those were in areas conducive to permineralization. The science Behind the geology of the area that I live is in total agreement the sedimentary beds are whats known as fossil ferrous bearing in nature. And I’m getting some of the best known specimens that I’ve seen on the Internet and not only that some are the likes of which I’ve never even seen period.
