I started wrestling in 1972, and the assumption that being allowed to attack the legs means that a wrestler MUST attack the legs is a long-time pet peeve. A wrestler should be able to choose any plan of attack other than the prevention of all scoring.
Amit seemed less dominant after cutting down to the Olympic weight. This one was a little too close for comfort. Hopefully she makes her adjustments before trials and Paris.
Red was lucky to get 4 on an early throw, but she couldn't do anything after that. She tried to block with her head for the rest of the match, but blue was too strong for this approach.
During Olympics, nobody scored 4 points on Amit Elor.
All her opponents combined didn't get 4 points!
Ref warning Amit for passivity while she is chasing her opponent all over the mat.
Yeah…gotta love it. Some of these refs are blind as bats
This felt like a Greco Roman match more than a freestyle match.
Agreed. Waaaay too much upper body. Not enough legs shots or even set ups. They’re literally only wrestling with half their offensive capabilities

And she did adjust, taking her opponents with a combined score of 34 to 2 against the best in the world!

Hmm. That's not what the scoreboard says.
@@jimwenzell5145 True. Blue was the clear winner. Red did well on early throw, but she couldn't do much after that.
How the hell do you figure that?
