- Hello everyone, welcome or welcome back to my RUclips channel. My name is Malachi Wright and I am a D2 at the University of Maryland School of Dentistry. On my channel, I make YT videos about what it's like to be a dental student, balancing working as a dental student, relationships in dentistry, and so much more. Stay tuned with me as I continue to embark on my journey to become Dr. Malachi Wright.
Oh my goodness this was so helpful thank you!!
Great advice, thanks for your wisdom
Amazing information! Is the high yield savings acct a CD, Money market or savings acct and do you have to put a certain amount of money in it each month?
For the HYSA, I thought about that too, but don't you have to pay taxes on the income generated by interest?
@@cair4742 yeahhh, you can’t get around uncle sam 😂. But regardless? You will likely not pay more than 10% of the income you generated. I would speak to an financial advisor before making a decision though.
Hey Malachi, great vid! How much student loan you will have at the end of dental school and are you planning on aggressively paying it down or not?
Great comment and question. I will have a little over 380k. Repayment depends. It truly depends on what I do long term and exactly how much I will be making. I will elaborate on this in a future video.
Here’s my tip. Never check ur bank account after you take loans out. Ignorance is bliss 🙈
Jk everyone listen to Malachi. Budgeting is super important and being aware of what ur working with 🌟
