Sometime it’s about healn childhood trauma. Which sets one up to date that kinda mess. Self respect & Self esteem aren’t learned in abusive childhoods. People kept telln me I needed to love myself more, which was misleading. Bcuz for me it was about healn the trauma so I wasn’t led to these kinda people by subconscious programming. We learn in childhood how to survive the abuser. Then carry that over into adulthood & end up reliving the past. Trauma counseln helped me make sense of it all & then helped me to heal from it...🌻

Then god forbid I mention feelings to him he retreats, goes silent and ignores. He is my ex as we were in a relationship for two years. Broke up for a year where he got into another relationship right away. Broke up with her and came back to me. I stupidly let him back in because I do still love him a lot! We have been in this situationship for about 8 months now because he’s afraid to commit again. I’ve tried being patient, but I don’t know if he will ever be ready and it hurts.
