Thank you Manuel! Can you please clarify what value means at 1:12? Essentially what I mean is the value was set at 45°, each layer below using the index expression would have added to that value anyway, so couldn't quite work out the need for value expression
Hey, trying to get this simple expression to work on a layer to offset each duplicated layer by a specific y position value - can't get it to work - layer just shoots off screen every time! any clues? Many thanks!

Hi! If you set a value and just add the index expression, it jumps back to 0 degrees. If you add "value+" at the beginning, it keeps the value.

Maybe the value is too high? If it is multiplied with the index number that could happen easily.
I’ve used Pro Tools, Ableton and GarageBand/Logic and soft is pretty confusing compared so thanks for tNice tutorials vid. It’s not as confusing as
