Michael Redd was one of the most underrated players ever. At this point he was arguably the best sniper in the game and had the coolest looking jump shot, looked like a sling-shot... it was awesome. That 3 pointer with 8 seconds left was insane. Too bad injuries ruined his career.
A great friend. Great athlete. Glad he had the opportunity to live out his dream. Congratulations Mike on a blessed career. All of your good friends here in Columbus are proud of you.
He was one of the best shooters in history and he could score just as good as anyone. Had be been injury free, he would've been up there with Kobe and T-Mac
+Jeremiah Uncle Grandpa Hall was monte ellis a shooter and efficient? No than what are you talking about, of course redd was on their level in his prime.
I saw Michael Redd once at the Bradley center. I thought at the time his form was horrible, and then he kept hitting shot after shot after shot. Mid range baseline. I learned that night that he was one of the Best shooters.
Young people may not know how good Michael Redd was during his day. He was one of the best catch and shoot players of his time. I compared Michael Redd's prime which was about 6 seasons and compared it Ray Allen's which was about 8 and here are their numbers: 23.5 PPG, 44.7% FG, 36.9% 3FG, and 84.9% FT for Michael Redd and 23.3 PPG, 44.9% FG, 40.2% 3FG, 89.4% FT for Ray Allen. Ray obviously played with other scorers like Glenn Robinson and Sam Cassell in Milwaukee and Rashard Lewis in Seattle so his PPG would be higher had he been in Michael Redd's place but it does go to show how close Michael Redd was to who everyone was saying was the best shooter of his generation in Ray Allen.
If you aren't familiar with Michael Redd , and u claim to be an NBA Fan u don't know shit, 1 of the most overlooked all stars ever. I remember him and Scoonie Penn taking the Buckeyes to the Final Four.quick release, strong finisher through contact, marksman, forgotten art... MIDRANGE ASSASSIN, via Glenn "the BIG Dog " Robinson, srep ur game up folks..
Michael have given any thought of being the coach of Ohio State if requested. Michael did you ever wear a white t-shirt under your Buckeye jersey during a game
i dont see any great SG right now, Kobe retired, Wade is next in line, Klay is a one trick pony SG, Harden comes close, Butler is inconsistent, hope there will be another MJ or Kobe like SG.
Yeah it’s crazy how I’m a younger guy and I instantly think of Redd, Houston and Ben Gordon when all time shooters come up and no one gives them honorable mention.
You have Reggie Miller, Ray Allen, Curry and Thompson I feel history will forget Korver, Mike Miller, Jon Barry, JR Smith, Redd, Peja, Glenn Rice, Joe Johnson, Lillard, Rashard Lewis, Terry among others

+phroz Redd was as good a shooter as Ray Allen when they were on the same team.
+thaxcutioner#1 yep
phroz great description about ‘sling-shot’ release. Looks like very difficult to guard / block.
Harden before harden
Best sniper...
man yall gotta give dis man his props he a top 20 sharp shooter ever I wish he never retired from the NBA

Former Buck player Michael Redd set a career high 57 points against the Jazz back in 2006!
Poor dude played his heart out
Dang! 12 years later...this gives me goosebumps!!!
Thank you for the memories Michael
one of my fav players still have his bucks jersey
Michael Redd and Allan Houston most underrated sharp shooters of all time
I miss when we had players like him in the league. It's so watered down now.
+RogueGhost24 1986-2008 was prime NBA.

u do not know how long i have been lookin for this game. thank u!!!!!!
Along with Jennings if Michael Redd and Andrew Bogut were injured free can you imagine what this team would be like.
Jennings wasnt there when redd was a star
I was just referring to the 2010 season when Redd went down with the second ACL injury.
Can say the same for a lot of teams, including if Grant Hill stayed healthy on the magic team while tmac was in his prime
Best Michael to ever play basketball😤😤
I was at this game with my little brother. Awesome come back, to bad we couldnt win. But, great time.
i miss this guy...
i love that slingshot lookin jumpshot
hopefully he can finally stay healthy!!
He retired in 2011
@@clarksanimals4458 that was 11 years ago
One of my favorite players of all time. If he played in New York he'd be a legend.
He was one of the best shooters in history and he could score just as good as anyone. Had be been injury free, he would've been up there with Kobe and T-Mac
He was up there with tmac.....
***** nah.
+Jeremiah Uncle Grandpa Hall in his prime he put up ray allen like stats, which put him up there with tmac kobe and lebron.
***** okay so because monta Ellis put up better career numbers than ray Allen and Reggie miller so is he on there level ? Stats aren't everything
+Jeremiah Uncle Grandpa Hall was monte ellis a shooter and efficient? No than what are you talking about, of course redd was on their level in his prime.
Literally forgot about this game since '06 yet really wished that Redd's 57 would've got the Bucks a W.
this guy was so underrated, i don't think he'll ever be as good as he used to be but i think he can still play
No, i don't think he'll ever get back to the level again
Very Underrated player 💪🏻💪🏻
He was such a beast
There are not many things in basketball that are more beautiful than Michael Redd running around screens and shooting quick realease fade away threes.
Best players from OHIO
1.LeBron
2.Jerry Lucas
3.Michael Redd
RayDill 6061 curry
Or John Havlicek
Curry
Best player out of the 2000 draft class by a LONG shot. Sad thing is he went in the second round.
and Brandon Roy.. I miss him as much as anyone
Most people dont even know who this man is
Michael was da boom

Still a Buck in my eyes.
i miss the nba with this, a healthy t mac, an ai at his prime, and vincanity.
He looks like a lefty Khris middleton.
He just got signed to Pheonix, he's making a comeback.
I used to drop 60 a game on 2k7 with redd!
This guy use to be such a Beast. Dam injuries !
Would've been a HOFer if he didn't have all those injuries.
He's the only player in his draft class that plays at a superstar level and was the 36th picked.
Eliel Moses A. Secuya 49th pick bro
43rd pick guys
Anyone here after Giannis scored 64?
good job
People just forgot about this guy. He was the Bucks in the early 2000s.
This about sums up Redd's time in Milwaukee. He could go off and the team would still lose because of a terrible supporting cast
man u gotta give us the last miss! great upload however. keep them coming
Michael Redd is the best shooter in the league
I forgot all about this dude

I can’t imagine if he played with Michael Jorda.
That would've been lit if he hit the winning 3
What a weird jumpshot form but effective.
jfrd072891 hard to block becuz he cocks it all the way back
Michael have given any thought of being the coach of Ohio State if requested. Michael did you ever wear a white t-shirt under your Buckeye jersey during a game
57 in a loss. nasty.
That last defensive play at the end... Jesus the bucks were bad lol
So this is why Redd was on the Redeem Team
Still have this game?
Welcome to Phoenix
dont forget an arenas prior to the gun mishap
God if him and Bogut could have just stayed healthy...
Actually this is James Harden.
James Harden with a heart? How is that even possible?
representing THE Ohio State University!!!
I'd be sick if I had 57 and lost too
Who’s here from Kenny
Me
i dont see any great SG right now, Kobe retired, Wade is next in line, Klay is a one trick pony SG, Harden comes close, Butler is inconsistent, hope there will be another MJ or Kobe like SG.
Chris Aguilar Klay a one trick pony? he's one of the better defensive wings in the league rn. he's proven to be a great 2-way player in the league.
lakers?
The OG James Harden haha
lol, ruben patterson
What a bad loss
lol at redd tying the game then losing it by not playing d
U kno its a Shame he cant stay healthy!!!
And they still lost
all my life., I really thought they won this game
John gotty.
reminds me of james harden
No James harden remind you of Michael Redd !
+xRare Trent Harden forces shots in set plays and especially in iso plays in ways Redd never did.
Redd played better defence and had the half the turnovers that Harden has.
yeH harden =redd
Please don't insult Redd.
