I can relate lol. I never really liked commission works but I realized they pay the bills more. So I took it personal. And even as an imaginative artist,before I can ever get my niche, first do what people want,thus commission works. Then afterwards I can introduce my own original pieces to them. Kudos bruh
@TheoGlimpses Making a grid of Large drawings can be very tedious and if care isn't taken, you may destroy your paper. So a good way to do it is, mount your paper on your board, print out the picture on a large paper(a3), grid on it and then grid on your drawing paper. You have to do a bit of a calculation to be sure that your drawing fits the paper
