      It's what the Sumerians did, according to Gilgamesh. if you read it carefully, the flood of Utnapishtim seems to refer to the deliberate destroying of dams in the city of Shuruppak, to kill the lower classes as a warning to other cities.
      This became the Bible story of Noah's flood. And according to the Book of Enoch, the end of the world will be the same, but bigger. It is freaky how close we match their history. They had an IT revolution (the invention of writing), and it turned the world upside down. It created bigger cities, and "lugals", literally "big men" (what we today call billionaires), who thought they could do anything. These "big men" (the "giants" and "gods" of Genesis) ignored all lessons from history because they thought they were so smart. So they flooded Shuruppak. That act destroyed confidence among other cities of Sumer, and the entire civilisation collapsed, That was the civilisation that gave us writing and cities. All gone thanks to that one act of 2348 BC. And now we have a new IT revolution, a new class of lugals and a new attitude that the past does not matter. And we are doing it all again, but on a much bigger scale. Just as the Book of Enoch said we would.

But China doesn't want to do this. It doesn't want to expand or become a world hegemon. Just being able to do business happily and make money, and making the people prosperous and happy, is enough.

    • @thebiggunce
      @thebiggunce 4 дня назад

      You can’t see the tactical utility in this technology at which scares me if war ever comes to your shores.
      A small camera equipped drone swarm could be used to scout at multiple points in a forest simultaneously from ground level to Birds Eye views simultaneously you have half a dozen (or more if it calls for it) of these land drones all with bombs equipped also in the forest going to any potential confirmed locations by the drones. Then they can explode once they’re within range, the genius of this attack to would be you weaponise a couple of the drones to make them think it’s a drone attack once you’ve scouted the area thus making them vulnerable to the ground attack, you can also take the attack stage further by having a larger dummy drone for the enemy to target which could also scout but also again adds that extra element which your opponent would have to deal with, making the odds of your attack more successful due to them having to cover so many angles at once.
      If you then combine that with air support eg, missile systems, IRBM, ICBM, bombers, close air support. You could annihilate an entire battalion without even needed to put more than 1000 of your own soldiers on the battlefield it sounds like I’m dreaming but this is actually the world we live in now and is why Russia are making progress but not in the same way Hitler did with the blitzkrieg in the 1930s and early 1940’s. They didn’t take a step back and say is there any other way to do as they already believed they had a great amount of military might which is true but they didn’t think to explore new experimental technologies which even if they weren’t effective to begin with would only become more effective and efficient with increased use and improvements especially when you’re facing an adversary who can only get access to high end equipment and technology through other countries. this would also decreases the risk of our own soldiers so that in the event the way escalates further you would be in a far stronger position due to the use of modern technology and the fact the use of that technology has reduced casualties which could make finding new conscripts easier if they feel more secure with the new grade technology which has been field tested.
      Now the technology exists but it hasn’t really been tested to be effective although the country that can crack it, without running the risk of the technology being Hacked or used against them with protected underground facilities where they can build more would in fact have the greatest military power in the world.

    For those who are not paying attention: it is time to end war of aggression while we still can. AI will change the nature of warfare beyond the limits of human control.
    War is no longer an acceptable way to settle disputes among people. The UN needs to take a position against armed conflict. People and countries have the inherent right of self defense. But, no one has the right to exert their will by force of arms. The UN should use military force against any group or country that continues to use military force to do harm.
    The off ramp from war of aggression would be if all countries in the UN would form a mutual defense alliance.
