I mostly listened to Black Mobb, but I listened to a few groups in Da Fam like Born Threat, TC, TC Missez and those clicked with Da Fam like I listened to 38 Click, Start Choosin, 285 Boyz from that side. But it was Black Mobb who I listened to the most. And I can say that the 21 Savage in the industry now isn't the same 21 Savage I remember from his 2100 DP Da Posse Black Mobb days. Naw Vlad, Gucci Mane is the right messenger for the message. Jeezy sent assailants and Gucci defended himself in self defense and killed one of Jeezy’s guys. Keep in mind Jeezy started it when he escalated it from just Rap beef to something in the street. Gucci probably was the original person to start that. The Truth diss song came out in 2012. Chief Keef and the rest of Chicago didn’t go commercial until 2012-13. If Gucci wasn’t the first he’s neck and neck with first and second place to claim he did that. He earned the right to say so in dissing the deceased and not to diss the deceased.

Gotta remember breezy has matured, because he’s older he 31 now, Also he has been able to travel outside of Chicago and see other shit. At a certain age if you live long enough, you are suppose to evolve past immature shit done in your teens and early twenties, yes I know it’s niggas way older than breezy that still have not matured, but those are the exceptions not the rule.
When you start seeing there's more to life than the same old same that you're used to it changes your mindset. Problem is a lot of people stay in the same place mentally and physically
The most important part of this interview clip is when vlad said he caught himself hating dude from hs at 30. If he can feel like that yrs later why dont ppl understand how we feel in these inner cities constantly losing our friends to gun violence. Obviously its wrong but who wouldnt want to get someone back for someone you love. If Vlad can think about someone who beat him up decades later what do you think is on these kids minds when they lose someone. Its so easy for everyone to say get over it but look at how a white male who doesnt gang bang or do anything still can hold grudges so its obviously not that hard to just forget & forgive.
Yall feel me. Especially asking teenagers to do that. Vlad at 30 had the wisdom to be like this is dumb but at 17 you dont have that same wisdom just emotion
It’s not hard or easy to forgive someone….it’s a choice. U make ur decision & love with it. I will say from experience, forgiveness is not for the person your forgiving, forgiveness is actually meant too free u, so u can move on with ur life cause that other person isn’t even thinking about u.
@@brandoncorrell6777 but there is a such thing as hard & easy choices. So just because its a choice doesnt mean it still cant be hard or easy. Plus you’re speaking from experience that most teenagers dont have which was my point. We can speak on stuff cause we experienced stuff but we cant assume kids will make the right choice
It's deeper than that. I'm not defending the behavior, I'm just trying to explain where it originated. Hear me out. Remember the whole "Breaking the Buck" treatment during the translatlantic slave trade? The biggest, strongest and baddest of the slaves, who slave owners saw as a potential threat, would be singled out, in front of the entire slave population in their plantation. They'd then be beaten and homosexualy sodomized to demasculate them completely, but most importantly to show less stronger slaves on the plantation, that they can get it if they don't fall inline. It was a tactic used to instill fear in the slave population. So the men, who were constantly demasculated in front of their peers, wives, children and family members, over time (centuries) grew a certain hatred to being demasculated to the point where they would develope a hatred for any form of demasculation against them. And when you have a hatred you won't let the smallest of offenses slide. The thing is, this hatred grew hand in hand with the civil rights movements. It had an outlet during that period, it's when the FBI carried out their Cointelpro operation and started taking out the leaders of these civil rights organizations, by either assassination (Fred Hampton), threats (MLK), or prison (Larry Hoover), that these groups that were originally supposed to fight for rights and protection of minorities, started turning on each other. It's only Farrakhan that's still safe to this day. And he's aware of this history and tried as much as possible to keep th8ngs in order.
@@mr.cangieter8758 I hear ya, but that’s irrelevant for today. When you get disrespected, you’re not thinking about all that history stuff. It’s all about your pride being hurt, feeling humiliated, caring about what others think and not being strong enough to walk away/ignore
Vlad you wrong fam I'd rather hear someone who actually put in work ,say enough is enough. Oppose to someone who hasn't . The streets will listen them before their own parents ,cuz this is what they've been screaming and crying for years. So yea ,hats off to Gucci and 21 .
Gucci is perfect person to speaking on dissing the dead. He actually did what he rap. For him to progress and change his ways… and right his wrong. Is a perfect example of wisdom. His trying to share his experience. It’s sounds like it would be better coming from someone without the experience. To say stop dissing the dead….(which is base of perspective of such individual) which is the norm in the world we live in…smh (hardheaded)
Tommy Wright III was the first person that starting dissing the dead when he went at Eazy E dying of AIDS back when Bone Thugs dissed the entire Memphis scene. That shit was wicked. Memphis rap in general is definitely a precursor to Drill
What Gucci Mane did is okay. I think it's okay to diss the dead if you ACTUALLY KILLED the person, and THEY WERE TRYING TO KILL YOU. Be a man. Speak on what you did. Shine off what you did. In my day we called it d--- riding to do anything else. Gucci shouldn't feel like he's one of these young thundercats out here dissing dead people. When that man tried to take Gucci's life and failed, Gucci was legally awarded all dissing rights to that individual, in perpetuity, and for all time.
600 Breezy is very mature young man. 600, really can hold up a intriguing conversation. Most of these young brotha's always sound dumb. He most had good up bringing. Your family legacy always comes out in your personality.
there's only 1 person from Chicago that has enough influence to stop the dissin the dead trend and it's not lil durk y'all it's Chief keef! he's already distance himself from majority of these beef so I don't think he really cares about any of that anymore!
Common sense gotta kick in at some point what point are you proving by coming back and killing that person you lost a fight to now you’re doing life so you lost twice plus the ultimate price of seeing freedom
Gicci did started that he been dissin pookie loc since 06' 07' know ya facts before speaking on it so he was the first person to diss the dead Gucci started that trend
That was childish on Wop's part.He caught one body by accident and now he is a serial killer.lol.He is trying to milk that shit to the end.He is not a murderer nor a killer.
No disrespect or disregard for your opinion, but the only messenger that delivers the proper message, is someone who has lived that life for REAL. SALUTE!!! NC
Breezy has a point. Its just like video games. Vlad needs to try to take his pov out of his interviews. Get the interviewee to open up.. weve heard Vlad talk before...
Nobody cares about his opinion.... I swear he one of the most egotistical guys I ever heard, his videos would be so much better if he stopped inserting himself into the interview
Ppl could still fight, the difference between today and 20-30 years ago, is that if you lose a fight today, you gone be recorded and be made a meme of on the internet and if you’re a street rapper potentially might effect your career.
Not only that. These fights nowadays are so ruthless. It’s not a quick in n out and respecting the man regardless of you winning or losing. Nowadays niggas wanna stomp out a ko’d opponent. What man wouldn’t come for your life after you attempted at his?
Vlad you suffer from Cognitive Dissonance in so many ways, especially if you think you truly know who you interviewed to a T, or understand situations that they been thru. You have to live where they're from to truly understand and to know them truly you have to grow up with them or live around them where you see them daily weekly to really know them. A few interviews is not enough.
Think about it, he often becomes friends with or refers to some of these individuals he interviews as his "friends", you would think he grew up with these people then come to find out he knows them from the industry🤦🏾♂️
It's not just entertainment when people hold you to what you say in your music. If it was just entertainment then 69 could still do gangster rap and be Poppin.

Actually California started all this in the 90s so idk tf you talking about ever heard of banging on wax
Breezy talk to Vlad like they super cool for years 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Gotta remember breezy has matured, because he’s older he 31 now, Also he has been able to travel outside of Chicago and see other shit. At a certain age if you live long enough, you are suppose to evolve past immature shit done in your teens and early twenties, yes I know it’s niggas way older than breezy that still have not matured, but those are the exceptions not the rule.
Facts. Breezy is a survivor. He's seen a lot of death around him. U can tell he wants to live
When you start seeing there's more to life than the same old same that you're used to it changes your mindset. Problem is a lot of people stay in the same place mentally and physically
@@dsales2011 agree, as you age and make money, and have shit to lose, you tend to not make emotional or rash decisions.
@@Novadad35 exactly.
Dry snitcher of the year lol
The most important part of this interview clip is when vlad said he caught himself hating dude from hs at 30. If he can feel like that yrs later why dont ppl understand how we feel in these inner cities constantly losing our friends to gun violence. Obviously its wrong but who wouldnt want to get someone back for someone you love. If Vlad can think about someone who beat him up decades later what do you think is on these kids minds when they lose someone. Its so easy for everyone to say get over it but look at how a white male who doesnt gang bang or do anything still can hold grudges so its obviously not that hard to just forget & forgive.
yeah i see what u sayin
Not that easy to just forget and forgive. I like how you explained that
Yall feel me.
That’s the problem with us As a whole!!! our pride would fuck us over everytime🤦🏽♂️
Speak for yourself, I love being a bitch in public...as long as I'm not a bitch in private 😂😂😂
“Yo’ ego is not yo’ amigo” - Big Tray Deee

@ 5:11 vlad almost saying nigga but instantly catching himself 😭😭
Vlad you wrong fam
I'd rather hear someone who actually put in work ,say enough is enough.
Word
Who???
Please stop!!!! Drill? ... Tommy ain't drilled nothing !
“I Gotta Kill em” nigga 600 wild bro
Gucci was defending himself he wasn’t out sliding on opps then dissed him, so his kind of different
LISTEN 5:12 VLAD ALMOST said NI99*😂😂😂
What Gucci Mane did is okay. I think it's okay to diss the dead if you ACTUALLY KILLED the person, and THEY WERE TRYING TO KILL YOU. Be a man. Speak on what you did. Shine off what you did. In my day we called it d--- riding to do anything else. Gucci shouldn't feel like he's one of these young thundercats out here dissing dead people. When that man tried to take Gucci's life and failed, Gucci was legally awarded all dissing rights to that individual, in perpetuity, and for all time.
5:12 vald was bout to say nigga 😂
Gucci not wrong for dissing dat man because that’s his work he got the right to talk about him 💯💯

Yeah he cut it out of his songs a while back now right? atleast a couple years
He checked Jay about dissing Tooka but people still dissing shorty. He ain’t the one.
Thanks for the video, DJVLAD
Common sense gotta kick in at some point what point are you proving by coming back and killing that person you lost a fight to now you’re doing life so you lost twice plus the ultimate price of seeing freedom
Emotions over rule intellect most times

Gicci did started that he been dissin pookie loc since 06' 07' know ya facts before speaking on it so he was the first person to diss the dead Gucci started that trend
Huh?
I will forever HAATTTEEE the way Vlad says Chicago with the strong phonetic CH in the front of it instead of the natural 'SH' sound smfh.
Vlad grow tf up!! Recognize what these rappers are trying to do and don't be the 1 going against it.
Vlad was bout to say : nigga 🤣 5:10.....don't tell me different 😭😭

Gucci been doing this shit since before Chicago Chief keef made y'all popular in 2012
Who better to give advice about dissing the dead than someone who has done it and was actually doing shi outside

Well these guys were different we have to remember that. They were really real man. Jeezy sent Pookie and took a loss. All’s fair in love and war.
Dog Blu from BMF sent them to get close to jeezy to get in the rap game. Go look up Sosa from BMF interview with vlad
Breezy has a point. Its just like video games. Vlad needs to try to take his pov out of his interviews. Get the interviewee to open up.. weve heard Vlad talk before...
Soon as breezy said he lost his first fight I swear to God I said “watch Vlad try to speak on his first fight”. Man vlad a whole 🤡

Ppl could still fight, the difference between today and 20-30 years ago, is that if you lose a fight today, you gone be recorded and be made a meme of on the internet and if you’re a street rapper potentially might effect your career.
it aint fair out here thats facts
Or get stomped to death
Not only that. These fights nowadays are so ruthless. It’s not a quick in n out and respecting the man regardless of you winning or losing. Nowadays niggas wanna stomp out a ko’d opponent. What man wouldn’t come for your life after you attempted at his?
This dude seem like he’s in the wrong interview
Vlad you suffer from Cognitive Dissonance in so many ways, especially if you think you truly know who you interviewed to a T, or understand situations that they been thru. You have to live where they're from to truly understand and to know them truly you have to grow up with them or live around them where you see them daily weekly to really know them. A few interviews is not enough.
Think about it, he often becomes friends with or refers to some of these individuals he interviews as his "friends", you would think he grew up with these people then come to find out he knows them from the industry🤦🏾♂️
The Bible tells you the power of music. We've just forgotten. The Culture going bad can directly be connected to the rise of gangster rap.
