When people ask how I can be 53 years old and still into this type of music (as well as modern EDM and trance) I'll just refer them to this. This is how we rolled back then and today!
I'm 48, this track and many others came out just as I was hitting my prime at all the raves legal and illegal. This track will never die out...AWESOME!!!!
Today's generation have no fucking idea of what happened in the late 80s and 90s. How we were all together as one, living in the moment. The way the music made you feel. It can never be replicated and I feel so lucky to have been a part it ❤❤❤❤
Well, you can't travel back in time and you can't make yourself younger. But you should be able to understand that every generation will have their chance to experience something new and something unique to that place and that time. Your comment just makes you sound like a sad boomer reminissing Woodstock. It is pathetic. Be happy for what you got to experience, but don't use it to push down on young people who have their lives ahead of them.
being just one short generation younger, i remember the stories of my older friends about going to berlin mid nineties etc. I started when techno was already on it's way out.. too bad would've wanted to live the mid nineties so bad..
@@JH-lo9ut What a naively jealous sounding comment. I'm a part of todays generation and what he's saying is completely true. There was no phones back then and thus people were more connected and had a greater sense of unity when dancing together. Theres only a few places or groups nowadays that carry that same type of energy when it comes to raving, one of them being FUMP. I agree, every generation will have their chance to experience something new and unique to them, but theres no need to be annoyed at this person for simply stating how different and unique it was during their time. Why be so unnecessarily negative towards them?
I've searched and searched and searched EVERYWHERE since 1991 for this song until today! This song is soul captivating and trance inducing! This track was beyond it's time! If it would have come out today it would still hit the charts! I remember first hearing it age 11 or 12 and remembering how it made me feel! I fell in love! Thank you for helping me recapture a little piece of my past in history today! I feel 12 again! I don't care how silly that sounds.
Now you have found it! I first heard this beautiful noise aged 15 in a nightclub called Shelley's laserdome in stoke in late 90 if i remember rightly. It hit really, really hard, let me tell you!
Kudos to whoever had the idea of pasting the scenes from Beats (2019) to Energy Flash. The scenes totally represent the era in which Energy Flash was given birth!
@@bodiesatva Once in a while my dark brain matter comes here to listen to this specific vibration of sound. Energy flash. For me this is blasphemy. Far away from trance. Anyone still listening in 2024? I'm 65 and still bang into my tunes. I'm uploading my musical knowledge via RUclips to my neighbour who's 24 when 24 yeats ago I was Techno loco 😎💯😁😈🌶️
I was a few years too young to catch this at the parties in the early 90’s, but I discovered it on an excellent Acid retrospective compilation CD around 95/96. Instantly was my favorite track from it.
It was such exciting times when it was underground the whole music, the bad publicity on tv the police raids and all because we were enjoying ourselves and wanted an escape from the shackles of reality if only for a night. Late 80’s through the 90’s mass unemployment, poverty and depression the whole rave culture gave us away to escape that and feel love and unity together with like minded people who were tired of the unrealistic expectations that were put on them. We were just kids and wanted to enjoy what we had. I hope the youth of today also find an escape. I wonder how many police thought at the time what are we doing , there just kids having fun. Just let them be. ❤
Well said mate. Summed it up perfectly. Always thought the higher powers never liked it because we were liberated and out of their control. How time have changed...
Ah, maan this takes me back. I remember dance floors soaking wet through with joy and jaw dropping tunes. We used to put on the Transition parties at Baskerville hall in Wales and people would come from all over Mid wales and the West to go wild and wonder at the all pervasive vibes. Of course the cops road blocked em but that was part of the energy we were creating. Great video. All the best. Mark
These stomping tunes have lasted over 30 plus years no other decade has gone past the decade it was on this is what the people where waiting for and it's going nowhere b safe all ❤
I have a list of tunes in my head that I would play in a club today that I'm sure would get the young ones asking themselves "wtf the fuck is this amazing tune" and this is defintely in the top 5
Only mad it to May 1990, due to passenger in car crash. But the joy of the Acid Raves fro, 88-90 the joy of brotherhood/sisterhood with friend's & non-friends all round.

Once, when I was messing around on the decks, I blended this tune together with Magic Bird Of Fire by the Salsoul Orchestra, an old disco track and it absolutely worked! Amazing!
Ahhhh I remember a rave we had in an abandoned summer camp, tons of people, I remember getting lucky and was the same morning my ex wife mysteriously disappeared 3AM
