@@jadamiller7485I would probably be confused for a guy too but sometimes I've had men say I was attractive too it really depends on there taste too not that they really have any but some of them will say stuff to me like, "looking for a good time?" As they drive by and other ones have confused me for a guy too because of my large nose.
I'm not conventionally attractive and when your not conventionally attractive you will get all sorts of weird comments like that so he can either start sucking or leave me alone if they think I'm a dude.
The real question should not be is she a man? The real question should be why are you out here stalking trans women in the first place sir? Just because I find women more attractive than men doesn't mean I went out and changed my gender some guys are sick in the head like that where they pick on the girls they find attractive they think that by insulting you it will make you like them.
It doesn't because there trying to get you to lower your standards for them so that they will have easier access to you. The reason why I know this is because there's this woman I know of that's getting married to a man and she dresses exactly like a man too.they see her as some kind of placeholder and if they really think you look ugly like that they would probably want to tie you down and marry you so that you don't try to date anyone else if your to attractive they will always want to discard you because a really attractive feminine looking woman would make them more nervous then just a standard 1950s house wife type of woman that wears bland or modest clothing.
They don't want you to be the prize and if you really are hot they will pick on you a lot not just a little bit or once in awhile.

@overlordfemto7523 when we define gender and sex on ideas that aren’t supported in WORLD history and WORLD religions you fail to have an open mind. as it’s not a fair to then be transphobic in those systems that humans made up based off things we saw commonly happening.
trans people ahve appeared through out history, as well in many religions, such as native americans(third spirits i think), with mainly the newer translations of christian (and abrahamic regions) religions that were so transfixed on the idea of gender roles. Since it came from the time where Rome was established, and worked with male led government basically, and the bible was only put in place due to the roman emperor putting it together when they decided to stop murdering Christians and making martyrs. So take a step back from where you are in this trans argument, and think about why we even created sex and gender to begin with and think about how it benefit and hurts you and those around you.

Genes, gonadal tissue, hormones, and external appearance are all factors that go into determining sex, and yet these chuckleheads are always out there trying to pretend it's a simple, obvious binary.

My oldest sibling is enby and when they're out most of the time people assume they are the opposite gender to what they were "born as" so it just goes to show people really don't know and can't tell because gender is just a construct so there's really no one way to be a gender we all just identify as we want and present as we feel comfortable.

14:40 - I used to work in clinical genetics (where incidentally we try to avoid determining paternity unless it's clinically relevant, such as strengthening evidence that a variant is de novo or appears in a parent, because we don't want incidental findings), the rate of misattributed paternity is absolutely nowhere near 40%. The true rate is closer to 1%, and has been falling in the last century thanks to many of the social changes that conservatives decry, like access to contraceptives and easier divorce allowing women to leave loveless and/or abusive relationships.
People who are seeking paternity testing obviously have a reason to be seeking it, which can be knowledge of an affair, an inconsistent phenotype, or the presumed father is a paranoid control freak whose partner possibly resents him enough to seek affection elsewhere, hence the high rates of missattributed paternity seen in DNA testing centres. It's like looking at the rates of cancer in the general population by considering the rates of cancer found when testing people who have symptoms.

Kiwi really lost me at the bit about sex workers. There’s a difference between destigmatizing and glorifying. It doesn’t make someone insecure to not want to date a sex worker. Most can’t separate home life and work life if they’re literally having sex for money. And unless they’re in the top percentile I guarantee they are not happier and wealthier than most people. That doesn’t make them less of a person, but it’s dangerous to lie about stuff like this.

I love how they think all housewives/SAHMs are "submissive" and "serve" their husbands. The actual definition of a breadwinner/homemaker relationship is one partner doing paid work to support the household and the other partner taking care of running the household, domestic work, raising kids, etc. Not every couple who live like that are into that trad/religious submission crap lol. My mom was a SAHM and both she and my dad are the most liberal feminist hippies you'll meet. Neither of them considered what my mom did "submitting" or "serving" because not everyone sees the world through the lens of these weirdly gendered power dynamics. Miss me with that nonsense.

alot of stay at home moms and women, dont have this accessibility. they have no say in what the money is used for. and in our capitalist society- where accessibility to money equals freedom,,, ☹

I have a question... please enlighten me or help me understand...
Yes capitalism is a negative thing and in many ways associated with patriarchy or better say toxic masculinity... But, isn't it to some extent because of capitalism we can see double income family where both men and women are earning now? Earlier it was only men being the breadwinners and women the stay at home , homemakers or parents... The gender role division was more clear without capitalism, hence patriarchy was more rampant??? So are women earning because they are forced to due to capitalism, but not for financial independence of themselves and so that they don't have to depend upon men for their livelihood?? So if capitalism is finished will women go back to home making ( traditional PATRIARCHAL gender role)? And men will be the sole breadwinners again? Because that's how it was in a pre capitalistic society I guess? Wasn't it more patriarchal? So isn't women's financial independence important? Doesn't capitalism in a way help on women being financially independent or earning? Because definitely "women being financially dependent upon men" is one of the strongest pillars holding on to patriarchal societal power structure? Without capitalism, will women earn equally with men? Or will the traditional patriarchal gender role come back ? Please help me understand...even if men say they are forced to go to work... And still men don't give birth to children and don't go through the biological investment and post partum, breastfeeding healing of the body etc as women do .. so will men become stay at home parents? And women choose to earn in a non capitalist society?
But in any way... Individual financial independence is getting lost in that way... One spouse have to depend upon the other for their livelihood...and it's risky at any situation, specially for women, when they have a kid to raise... As we have already seen in so many divorce cases around the world...

To be fair, while capitalist principles have helped women, in that they could start businesses and make money and things like that… capitalism isn’t the reason women have more rights now. Capitalism isn’t new, it’s existed for a very long time, and patriarchy has existed along with it. And because people in power (like heads of corporations and government officials) were mainly men, patriarchy became so intwined with capitalism that it can be hard to separate the two now. As such I think capitalism, as it stands now, will still hurt women because it is a system that has been manipulated to mainly cater to men. And to be fair, most countries do not exist a completely, 100% capitalist country. Anytime the government regulates industries, then it strays further from capitalistic principles, which can be a good thing! For example, affirmative action in companies or schools can be seen as a major reason women and people of color have access to those spaces now. Since the government regulates it, then it’s not a capitalist action.
I think women’s rights isn’t tied to the economic system of a country or society, but the societal systems in place. Take Sparta for example, it wasn’t a capitalistic nation, but their women were viewed as more equal and were allowed to hold jobs and fight in battle alongside men. There are several other civilizations that didn’t have capitalism but had better gender equality.
I’m not entirely for completely removing capitalism, cuz I know that there are good aspects of it. But I do believe that we should start to include more aspects of other economic systems that can make reduce the consequences of capitalism and better serve society. Because if we can minimize the consequences of our economic systems, then we can focus on making other aspects of life better for everyone, including women. And that way, everyone can make financial and social decisions that actually work best for them instead of just because they can’t afford to do something else (like someone choosing not to be a stay at home parent even if they want to or someone choosing a job they hate because it pays better or because they think they’re supposed to).

I’ve never understood women hating women. I’m a closeted trans man so most people I’m around still see me as a woman. (Parents, teachers, family members, co-workers, ect.) I’ve heard conversations of women in my life talking about how some women should just stop complaining about life because they, and I quote, “Don’t have life that hard if they look like that.” Referring to women who seem to look as if they are more confident and actor their own bodies. My own mother has tried to convince me to marry a man who works while I stay home and take care of kids, even after I had told her I don’t think I’m ment to have kids. Most people around me are conservative and think that a traditional life is a good life, women does all the home work, men gets the all money, woman pleases the man. These same people have told me that women are not facing any issues and that they should just mind their own business?? This truly does confuse me a lot and I just don’t understand why people think like this. I understand wanting to do your own thing I just don’t understand hating on other when they do their own thing.

I will never understand woman hating women. Like if u want a "tradition" marriage with a husband and kids, go for it, but don't shit on the rest of us who may not want those things. This goes for everyone: There's no one size fits all for life & what we choose to do with it should be our decision & not someone else telling us what we can & can't do or shaming us for not wanting the same things as them. We should be lifting each other up to achieve whatever gives our life fulliment without bringing others down for wanting different things in life. Also I want to note how fatphobic it is to want models to only be one size. It's part of the reason I started shopping in the men's section because not only was the clothing more comfortable but I didn't have to deal with the extra stress of getting something that ended up not fitting because it was tailored to only one body type

    • @claratalbot7613
      @claratalbot7613 9 месяцев назад +10

@overlordfemto7523 For u, it is wonderful, but that is not the case for everyone. This kind of shaming results in kids getting abused, neglected, and even in some cases abandoned. It also puts a heavy financial burden on people when they are either not ready for kids yet or don't want them. Also, u don't know what kind of medicine people are on (if any) & why they're on those medications, so u shouldn't make the claim that they're depresed & taking medicines because they don't want kids & it's horrible that u make such a claim. Not to mention that I can only imagine the horror on someone's face if u said this to them after they had recently had a miscarriage because u made the assumption about them. Or what about if their kids are in daycare or at school? Are u going to make this claim to every person u see who doesn't have kids with them? Again, if having kids gave u a filling life, that great but pls do not be shaming others just because they don't want the same thing as u. Having kids is a choice that people make, not something that everyone should be forced to do just because it's fullied someone else's life

I've noticed that many detransitioners (especially the transphobic ones) have said they were rushed through the process or/and that they were in a bad place and thought transitioning would fix that. We only have the "gender dysphoria" diagnoses, which isn't even always correct, or enough.

Agreed, although it’s still a valid talking point that trans people’s brains often trend towards looking different from the typical cis brains of their assigned sex

I mean but a lot of the detransitioners are straight up liars and plants. It's been proven a few different times that famous detransitioners are lying. And even if you do transition and then detransition, gender dysphoria is not something a lot of cis people experience naturally. I know many cis people who have never once questioned their gender. Meanwhile I was three running around in heels saying I wanted to be a pretty girl.
As for extensive therapy, I have to disagree because some people are different. I knew from a young age. I think for surgery on people under 18, sure. I feel like kids should be allowed to start puberty blockers first at least. Even hormones have reversible effects (besides trans men having their voices drop but that can be solved through voice training)
It's just that not allowing people to transition and grow in bodies they hate festers.

That guy saying he “immediately knew” that the person in the video was a girl would change his tune very quickly if the person said that they had a penis (or any male sex characteristic for that matter).

@overlordfemto7523 you’d think so, but anti-trans “transvestigators” have made themselves a meme by hilariously not being able to tell when someone obviously isn’t a man. In fact, they often falsely accuse each other of secretly being trans. There was even a famous case of a transvestigator accusing JK Rowling, the king of the terfs, of being a trans woman.

I appreciate this video and I like your videos a lot, but I do feel the need to say that there is a lot of contention regarding "male" and "female" brains, and saying that someone has a "masculine" or "feminine" brain actually winds up leading to more transphobia (by seeing male and female as a dichotomy rather than a spectrum), and many of the studies regarding the difference lean heavily into misogyny and don't actually see a large difference between sexes, rather than a difference in empathy between different people.

Its a psychological fact though.the male and female brain-to-asab thing is a fact. You can't get rid of that,I'm sorry that the fact that our brains don't always line up with our assigned sex angers you but that's something you need to work on.its not transphobic,it's just a fact.

@@missvoorhees7964 We called it misogynistic too, which it is. There's no such thing as a female or male brain. Brains don't revolve around our sex past hormones, which are quite easy to change, might I add. If you actually knew your science you'd know that a lot of medicine is built on racism and misogyny and plenty of these irrefutable facts just might be sorta flawed because they were made by biased actors who were quite selective in how they tested data. This is just another attempt to say females are below males, another example of how society is misogynistic and most feminists buy into it and fail to truly advocate for the abolition of patriarchy.

The "Male and Female" brain thing also leaves out intersex and nonbinary folks too. There are no "Female" and "Male" brains, only brains.
