Two Ways Maguire Can End The Bullying And Save His Career

Harry Maguire is the most expensive defender in the world. Imagine that. He's more expensive than Virgil Van Dijk, when ironically, he can't DEFEND against Van Dijk who can jump way higher than he can and can score goals in Man United when Maguire is supposedly marking him. How ironic.
Following his own goal vs Scotland last Tuesday and the intinsified critisim Maguire faced recently, his own MOTHER, has come out to defend him. On Instagram, she said Maguire works his socks off, has a massive heart, what he’s going through is NOT ok and that she would hate to see other parents or players go through this in the future.
This usually, or might NEVER have happened to a 30 year old sportsman, but because it did happen, I asked myself; is it normal the amount of criticism directed towards Maguire?
Maguire is a human being who has feelings but Unfortunately the answer is YES and for two reasons:
ONE Although England coach, Gareth Southgate, has fiercely defended Maguire, Southgate is actually making it worse. A lot of people are saying Maguire isn't as bad with England as he is with Man United, but I strongly disagree. First of all, if you're playing for England, a country whose fans are just crazy about football, you have to be at top notch level, and that's far from the case with Maguire, and to those who say he's been solid with England, Maguire couldn't mark OLD man Olivier Giroud in the world cup. Giroud's header actually hit Maguire on its way in so in a way it's kind of an own goal and that winning goal knocked England out of the world cup quarter finals. And I don't need to talk much about the England game vs Scotland and the own goal he scored. So the question to Southgate is; why are you giving Maguire play time when he's very far away from the level he should be? If you continue to do so, it's gonna cost you a lot. Drop Maguire until he's ready to represent England, for Maguire's OWN SAKE.
TWO Maguire is playing for one of the best teams in the world in one of the toughest leagues in the world. But what do you do when you're not playing at that very high standard. You just simply DO NOT PLAY.
And I'm not talking about Harry Maguire retiring, No. I'm talking about leaving Man United. Why the heck did you turn down that West Ham offer in the summer? I have no idea. West Ham are actually a really good team and over there you weren't gonna be held to the same high standards as in Old Trafford. It would've been a chance to rediscover yourself and get some play time because with Erik Ten Hag and after what happened in Scotland, you're not gonna be playing anytime soon. You're 30 years old and you have to save your career, assuming it can be saved.
You seem to be thinking too much and it's clearly not working out for you. What the heck are you thinking about Harry? Don't THINK, just play. You're not a doctor, scientist or an engineer. You're a freakin football defender playing for one of the best clubs in football history and playing for the nation that invented football. Get your act together Harry and quickly, otherwise, not even Saudi Arabia will want you.

He needs some rediscovering to do, I watched his highlights prior to that Man United move and I was impressive in his defending skills.

Despite everything I still believe he can save his career. He's going to have to work really hard, but it's possible. We'll see what happens with this interesting individual.
