I just love how paternal John is with Leila and I love how her hands are so small compared to John's huge hands, well after all she is a baby but still its so cute. And I loved it when Leila's hand was on his shoulder, barely gripping it because her hand was so small. I also loved it when John kept on saying "Cry'' because he's like so soft spoken and that little kiss he gave her.... so adorable. And I love Jim's hands.
@@ktolwal It's been mentioned he had zero intention on letting the child die. Still an absolute horrible thing to do but Elias isn't exactly an ethical professor
This scene was hard to watch. They will never give him an Emmy, such crap. One show tainted because of their hate of one role, one movie, one man? Such BS.
To all of you wanting to have Jim's children; I feel your pain. However, just rest in knowing that it was a true father playing this scene. Not only does Jim and his wife love children, they are active in supporting crisis pregnancy services and getting help to those who feel abortion is their only option.
In other words, he's one of those who wants to impose his Bronze age mythology on everyone else, because some other lunatic told him that there was a magical, mystical, invisible man in the sky who loves everyone and will only torture for all eternity those who don't obey him perfectly. But none of this has anything to do with the show, so I'll move on.
Something awesome is I actually had an opportunity to talk with the guy that plays Elias, Enrico Colantoni, and asked him about this scene -- "would Elias have actually let John and Leila freeze if John didn't tell him where Moretti was?" And his response was the best -- "Never in a million years." Not a moment of hesitation or even needing to consider his answer.
@@MnMJax Interestingly, when it came to Baby Leila, John could NOT risk it. Even though his instincts were that Elias would never directly harm a child, John simply could NOT risk the chance, not for the life of a SOB retired mobster. John could afford to play a game of chicken with Elias with Baby Leila caught in the middle.
i wish there could be a crossover episode between NCIS and Person of Interest... now that would be something worth watching. Gibbs and Reese... just picture it.. i can and its amazing. And its not IMPOSSIBLE.

I am hoping to see that JC's character gets nominated for an Emmy. Also, the show gets nominated for an Emmy too! Love this show!! Wonder when the Emmy Award show will happen? I will be watching and maybe get to nominate it again for People's Choice Award.
Not to mention stopping human trafficking. He's a big contributor to this movement I got mail from. Inside was a letter by him explaining why he contributes and that he hopes we will all come together and end their suffering.
Just look at his facial expressions! His acting was top top notch in this particular scene. The emotions he showed through out this scene brought tears in my eyes too but guess what? He didn't win Emmy. Why? Coz hollywood doesn't accept him for his views for what he did in Passion of the christ. Stupid world. He deserved to win all the awards there were for his performance in POI. But no one noticed his performance sadly
I love a great bad guy and Elias just went 1000 times up on the bad guy scale when he locked the baby in a freezer truck with the man who's supposed to be saving the child. This series surpasses all others simply because the whole good vs evil plot is balanced to a point where neither one foolishly outshines the other.
Once the baby is safe, I am astonished that Reese did not just kill Elias for endangering the kid. Frankly, as much as I get the reason for Elias doing what he did, his dads a total @$$hole after all, I really don't see John being able to let Elias slide on endangering the life of a baby like that.
Nah the way that he held it when he was free is the best way to get as much force but with the handcuffs, he'd struggle to actually do any real damage.
vince gredo that's actually what he said to Mel Gibson after their meeting for the movie that he initials is j.c...i don't think that's the reason why he was cast but it's as if he was meant to play Jesus Christ!
From everything I've read, Jim Cavizel was born, baptized, and raised Roman Catholic. A couple of my sources even state that he was considering the priesthood until he met his wife. But they're a little shady...like the "Modern Islam" site (now shut down) that said he was born to Islamic/Catholic parents.
Caviezel really knocked it out of the park with this scene, I hope he's nominated for an emmy for this performance

It was so beutiful to see him with the baby. In his huge hands she looks so small, and John was so protective. ❤️❤️❤️ One of the best chapter.
The emotion in this scene man... Not much else can compare. Jim caviezel did an amazing job. And the character Reese is just epic.

Elias being a SOB and Reese being adorably protective.

really great scene - the love he has for leila is just immense!
Def the most touching scene of the show so far, JC for an Emmy!
