The real reason is that yes those places are amazing in regards to culture, art, music, food, customs. The only reason is that they leave because what lacks is money.

Only Poland is making a strong entrance, but this is due to a number of factors, one of which is the increase in foreign investment, the other being the collapse of Germany (the economic engine of Europe) and the stagnation of France. If we talk about countries like Russia, they are economically devastated and Ukraine is a destroyed country, in the Baltic countries the native people are emigrating en masse to Poland and Western Europe, then countries like the Balkans and Moldova are very poor.

In Latin America and Southeast Asia, life is generally good if you are not demanding or ambitious, but there are no expectations for economic or professional development, so people emigrate en masse to other countries that have better opportunities.

As a brazilian, I Agree 1000%. That's exacly the motivation that people migrated and also come back to the home country.

I left two Eastern Europe from America.....
    It's because they watch movies.
And in the movies everything is hunky-dory. But reality is so much worse.

Newsflash, LatAm is Western, culturally, historically, and religiously as they were colonized by Western Europeans (Spain and Portugal).

Plus, it's not the majority that leave but the few. American propaganda has made it look like everyone wants to go to the U.S but that ain't true.

Most oeople move to western countries because of economic problems. The economic problems are cause by western nations because they poorer nations to rely on them.
Take the example of pakistan, all of pakistans dictators have been western backed and then they talk about democracy.
Another exmaple pakistan is a poor nation which needs energy i.e oil but it can't biy oil from iran cheaply bevause the usa has sanctioned. This has massively increased cost of energy oroduction and has led to the slow of down of manufacturing which in turn leads to economic uncertainty and people leaving
