    Tanisi, Thank you so much for this video. I seem to have a foot on the Red Road these days as I walk, but am far away from my Cousins and Aunties, so this helps me a lot. I look forward to more of your teachings. Hihi.

    Most of my family are Metis - Cree/Scottish. Now I understand why I was raised to call my mother and father's first cousins Aunt and Uncle. It was confusing growing up, but I understand how much of a sign of respect it is. I could not call any of them by their first name, ever. Thank you for this.
