I found your channel looking for ti Mako reviews and I just wanted to comment on how well done this video is. Also, for anyone reading this, if you're on the fence about a Mako, just get it. It's my favorite Zelos (I have the blue stainless v3), and also a Thresher (too big on my 6.75" wrist), and two Blacktips (also a great watch). The company offers amazing support and unbeatable value. My only knock is that the clasp is blatant IP theft from Christopher Ward.
Thanks for your support domenick! Yes the mako has this reputation because of its well balanced proportions. The sharing of clasp design is nothing new in the watch industry. Recently I started to get in contact with a manufacturer in the hopes of launching my own watch line one day. I found that there’s only a handful of manufacturers in the east that caters not only to microbrands but also doxa, hublot, blancpain and other Swiss brands just to name a few. I wouldn’t be surprised if cward and zelos would be sharing the same manufacturer.

Just orefer mine about 2 weeks ago. Anybody can answer how fast zelos deliver? Cannot wait to see the real thing. By the way, this is a great review. Very well done and informative.
I had one in the basket within the first second of the countdown timer hitting zero and by the time I'd finished typing in my credit card details it was sold out and I missed it. All 100 must have been sold within 30 seconds max
@@TheLumeRoom be fine if I thought they were all going to a good wrist but you know half will end up on ebay at a mark-up. 'Settled' for the storm grey though so all good. Congrats on grabbing one though and look forward to watching your hands on
I have previous Mako v3 in vintiage black and I love it. So much that I will most likely get another one in titatnium :) The green one looks killer on that green nato, not so much on the black strap. Thanks for the video, I loved the animated sizing guides. Btw. What's the make of the black strap shown at 10:39-10:41?
I have the MOP. I’m shocked that four color ways never sold out. This may be the best balance of budget and features in a Zelos or perhaps any watch brand under $500. The dimensions, specs, and extras like the coating, titanium and adjustable clasp for the launch price is insane value and I haven’t even mentioned the typical Zelos offering s like matching date wheel, crazy lume, and out if the box design.
I would get one but the line where the bracelet meets the case annoys me to much. Going to try get a titanium swordfish 40 for my first Zelos ❤️. Great review 👍🙂
Great review. This is my favorite colorway and the one I've decided to get. It's so classy. I have a question for you though. At about 11:37 in the video, what is the brand of the black padded strap next to the watch with the silver buckle and white stitching? I'd like to check them out.
@@asdfyxcv1100 my cousin got a Storm Grey as well. My second favorite version but I was unsure of how it looked in person since there were not any reviews of it. If I like it in person I might get one secondhand if I can find one. Curious to see the blue accents on it.

I have a Junkers 6754-5 Eisvogel F13 that was almost impossible to wind manually due to too much friction and took it to a watchmaker this morning to have it checked and fixed. Later, during my lunch break I just looked at a couple watch brands' websites, among which the zelos website, as I occasionally do and figured there were new watches being released today. That escalated quickly...
Full disclosure, I know a lot more about whorology than horology. That being said, I'm pretty sure there's a fairly significant Japanese watch maker that has a fairly popular dive watch already called a "mako".

this is still one of my favorite zelos to date. theres just so much value into it.

i think its just the narrow bezel that makes it look larger. but the rest of the case is a quite small.

That nato strap was a cheap strap in amazon.
