Just to clarify, you add salt to the holding tank at .03%. great video!!

0.3% this works out to about 3 pounds per 100 gallons of water

Do you recommend using Microb-lift pbl to add beneficial bacteria to your pond when you start up your pond for Spring?

Yes, we do recommend adding a beneficial bacteria starting in Spring. Then follow the recommended dosing throughout the season.

How do you get rid of red algae on the rocks and pebbles? Also what causes it to grow on them?

How do you clean the smaller gravel, or do you just replace it?

    • @LandvistaAquascapes

Same way! We just have to be cautious to make sure the pump doesn't suck up too much of it

8×10 too small for those beautiful fish; also its concerning they are laying on the bottom they should be much more active.

I NEVER clean my ponds and it runs like river to marsh pond and everything looks awesome. Get a big sedge marsh and you won't have to clean. Go see my channel in Canada and look how big my hardy sedges and marsh marigold is right now.

That's a pretty impressive setup you've got there! Like I said in the video, we do yearly cleanouts to remove as much debris and waste as possible, and gives the ecosystem a nice boost. It also gives us an opportunity to get a good health check on all of the fish, and allows us to get in and check underwater lighting, and fertilize any aquatic plants
