What an absolutely wonderful woman Marina-chan has grown into! I swear, even if you couldn't see her singing you could tell it's Marina because that personality just shines thru every word. She is truly a gift.
Watching this video made me aware of something. As much as we love Marina, and wish for her success, making an album and music videos is not easy. And to do so, there are a lot of people behind the scenes that also believe Marina is worth the effort, and that made me happy when I realized that they also said "Yes, she is worth the effort".
Your comment inspired my own thoughts. Marina will ALWAYS be worth the effort. In SG, plus her post-SG career after it restarted, she NEVER disappoints and, by all accounts, is easy to work with (for directors, that can be more important than raw talent, though Marina has that too). She is a wonderful young super-lady.

Mine came really quick... I know what you mean about international shipping though... mine sometimes takes a month (usually though it’s due to my local post office.) Anyway, have you got it yet? I love it... been playing it a lot.
My copy of Marina's CD arrived in less than two weeks (along with the new Band Maid CD) via DHL. Now, if only my third Atarashii Gakkou CD would arrive.
@@scipiocorculum I use DHL too... they leave it inside my backyard instead of putting it outside my fence, like all the other carriers do. I originally was going to get some other items but for whatever reason it would have caused a delay. So I’ll order them later. I remember when I ordered BAND- MAID’s World Domination and Conqueror CD’s that it took less time to go from Tokyo to my local post office then it took to go from my local post office to my house. DHL ever since...edit: Atarashii Gakkou... I’ve seen some of their RUclips videos... don’t know what they are, actually. Have to check them out.

They are a group of four young ladies (Suzuka, Mizyu, Kanon, and Rin) aged 19-22 who sing and dance while wearing sailor suit style school uniforms. If you love BabyMetal and Sakura Gaukin, there is a good chance you will like Atarashii Gakko. They make me think what it might have been like had Sakura Gakuin continued on through high school. Their music is a mix of J-pop, jazz, punk, and hiphop, which makes their singing and dancing frenetic and funky. Atarashii Gakkou have fun songs, but they also cover more mature themes such as teen angst, awakening sexuality, and forbidden love. They are also a bit goofy (some say weird) which makes their music and comedy videos a lot of fun to watch. Their lead singer, Suzuka, towers over the other girls like another famous Suzuka does, and she shares some her awesome, almost frightening stage presence. Atarashii Gakkou are poised to become the next big thing to burst out of Japan.

I would have figured it out at some point since I’ve been subscribed to their channel for a few weeks but I thought they were a comedy/variety or even educational group since I’ve seen them visiting shrines/temples and describing school life and so on. After your post I looked them up on Spotify and listened to their latest album. I’m a fan. Have you heard NEMOPHILA? I think they have a unique sound and hope they continue on. I also hope Marinas album is the first of many. Ah well, cheers my friend.

まり菜。ジャズ・クラリネット奏者の北村英二さんの言葉には、「聴衆にこんな音聞かせてやろうと思って演奏しても、聴衆が付いてこなかったり。やっぱり、もっと聴衆に近づけたり、いろいろやるわけですよ」的なことを言っていたと思う。もしかしたら「エゴ」と「迎合」の境を行ったり来たりしていたと思うんですよ。伝わるかな。

厳しいこと言うようですが、こういう内省的な歌はよくある曲でそりゃあ誰にでもいろいろあるだろうと言う意味で新鮮味が乏しくハンデになると思うんですよね。
だっていつまでも子供の頃からを知っている父兄に頼っては行けないわけですしね。
それよりもはしゃいだり弾けた先で内省的になるような意表を突く曲がもっと欲しいと思います。
売れるためだけの歌じゃないですよ多分
