I am not going to do this, but if he is a gifted visual Storyteller, watching the film without audio on might actually help it. I know that’s one of the big things with M Night Shamalyan’s more maligned work in The Last Airbender. That movie actually kinda slaps with wu tang clan on.
For the love of God, I pray that Snyder does something different and finally works on a stripped down small/mid budget movie written by a very good screenwriter!

Was this Netflix trying to capitalise on the hashtag "releasethesnydersut"? Did they intentionally nerf the initial releases to generate buzz for these directors' cuts?
Good overview, but you can't call yourself a true Rebel Moon stan unless you've read the two novelizations - one for each film - by V.I Castro. I do and did.
I LOVE me some Zack Snyder, but JESUS CHRIST these movies were awful. I couldn't get through the second one let alone an extended version of either. Obviously he needs a stronger producer to rein him in hard
erm I rather Netflix spend those money on potential good films with good directors. Let's not forget synder spent all those money on building an actual farm and wheats for this film, like wtf? The farm sequences are atrocious and laughable.

I like both Rebel Moons as a guilty pleasure but am grateful to these two for doing this review so I don't have to watch the Director's cuts.
