Thank you very much for the video, I followed it and was able to replace a thermal fuse in my air fryer. The exact same one as in your video. Saved me buying a new one and has given me the satisfaction of being able to fix it.
@19:00 I have successfully soldered thermal fuses many times, just be quick, get the wire hot first, and hold between the join and the fuse with something to heat sink it.

Good job. It might have just had a voltage surge through the house. We use our air frier all the time. Great style of cooker.

Hadn't thought about blowing the fuse that way.... I figure it's crimped to last longer given it's proximity to heat.
Thanks for the video...I am not experienced in electrical equipment...so I'll just buy a new one 😂
