It’s funny because, even more than pencils being flammable, pencils were actually quite risky in space since the graphite from broken tips is highly conductive and could short electronics. The Russians ended up buying space pens to replace their pencils. It’s a doubly good lesson not to judge a problem/solution space without fully understanding it.
Man I must change the speed to 0.5x to really grasp what he is saying. But overall this is a really great explanation and helps me to understand better of the concept. Thanks
I loved Dan's book and was excited to see a presentation by him on this channel. This video delivered a ton of value from the clear explanations of concepts and helpful examples of their application. Thanks to Dan and everyone at Product School!
I'm not a native english person! so it was a great deal to me to listen and perceive at the first time! Thanks a lot to Dan Olsen:) Your speed is really amazing! Great presentation
I have watched this video so many times but now that I am taking a module in design thinking its all starting to add up and make sense. Dan really went in on this.
With Go Figma and UI kits is actually easier now to do interacting design with actual components. But then it looks like a mockup. That works when there is an already agreed upon style guide. But I still go through some hand prototyping... And irritate a lot before developing anything.
This is one of the best presentations on problem identification for products.

Don’t attempt to watch this on 1.5x speed like I did. My brain melted.

Hi,
Great presentation, but the deck at slide-share is not as per slide. It will be great if you can update the same.
Hi! Thank you. The presentation that was shared with us by the speaker was uploaded to our slideshare. Please find it here prdct.school/2NYG5jH
