      Oh, I wish I could, but my budget is currently tight. But, tax season is here in the US, so that could change....

    I'm using an older NEQ6. So the weight is a big pro for me. The cost is a big neg. As for the camera. I would love to have it but the cost. I may never be able to save enough. All in my comment you covered completely. I enjoy your video's. Can't wait to see it all in operation with the addition of the EAF. Thanks for the honest reviews.

      Yeah the cost is a big turnoff for most, which I understand. The EAF videos will be coming soon. It's a bit cloudy lately so that gives me time to attach it! Thanks for stopping by :)

    What was the spacing you used to connect the 2600MC to the Z61? Did you use all the spacers that came with the camera and what did you set the field flattener to on the Z61?

    • @AstroEscape
      @AstroEscape Год назад

      Flattener is set to 13.2 mm for the filter that's in the flattener (whichever one I need for the night). Just used all of the spacers to get the 55mm.

    Hay there! This is unrelated to this video, but I thought I'd have a better chance of a response than posting to the older video this pertains to. That being "How to setup the ASIAIR Plus". My question being. Can I plug the "Qmod cable" into a USB 2 port on my ZWO ASI533MC Pro camera? The "Eqmod" plug is too fat o fit next to the USB 3.0 connector on the ASIAIR, that goes to the ZWO ASI imaging camera. It goes in crooked and putts strain on the connectors on ASIAIR. Thanks in advance!

      Yep, it'll work. You can also plug in your guide camera to the main camera. As long as your main camera is plugged directly into the AIR, it'll work. Those two extra plugs on the 533 are like a built-in USB hub.

      Thanks again! I've found, that sometimes hubs
      Act weird with busy "2 way traffic ".

    The 2600 looks great however the post processing load will be tremendous on a pc if it can do it at all.That’s why I decided to go with the zwo 533.

      Hah, yeah we will have to see how things go with mine. When I built my current PC I built it with processing in mind, but that was almost five years ago. I guess we will have to see if it handles it well or if I have a new heater for my house! Thanks for watching, Dan.

    If you can please provide a benchmark of PC requirement when you go to post processing Daylon. Thx

      I just did a few pictures for the first light video and I haven't noticed any major change in difference in processing speeds for Pixinsight scripts between pictures from the 294MC and the 2600MC.
      My PC is five years old though. Specs of the parts that matter: AMD Ryzen 7 2700x, 32 GB RAM, and Samsung EVO 970 m.2 SSD. However, during black Friday this past year I put a Samsung EVO 980 2TB m.2 SSD in to process all videos and pictures on, since the 970 was also my system drive. That made things a little quicker but we're talking seconds, not minutes of difference. As long as you have a decent CPU and you use an internal SSD, it should speed things up.
