I just like how this ended. Not the very cliche one. It actually told us a happy ending of them, it's just that we need to comprehend the whole story and their current situation. Everything is in favor already with them. Do Kyung's parents are okay with them and his Grandfather also, his business has to do with visiting Finland and Ji an's father gave permission for Do Kyung and is doing good with her studies. They deserve awards!!!!
I'm happy life goes on and they have a new beginning... 😊😍 It wasn't a golden life... it was only a good life... I love this two Choi Do Kyeong and Seo Ji An 😭 so hard I'm gonna miss all the cast good job.
I still cannot get over... Feeling down, sad cause it already end. I am also not satisfied with the ending...Maybe the writer can extend one or two episodes to go a bit further where the couple has a happier ending. I still remember DK own JA a wish when they went for the ice skating. From that episode,i have been waiting what wish JA would like to have from DK.... But, didn't mentioned after that. Quite dissapointed! Anyway, this drama is really good. When they smile,i will smile, when they cry, I also cry... Long time didn't watch such a nice drama! Thanks to all involved in the drama.

I am not satisfied with the ending too but i think that the writer did very well with this one. Do kyung waited for ji an, for her to heal her own wounds, for her to love herself first before loving anyone again. But, if you're a fan of this drama, you can see that ji an fell in love with do kyung without realizing it. It started when they're working together in haesung, until now. However, due to some unfortunate events she can't forgive herself for loving him because of his family's doings. Her love that started purely became tainted with hatred for his family. Meanwhile do kyung, he only loved ji an with all of his heart but ji an was right, he was selfish. So, he waited for her. And this ending only symbolizes that not all relationships will end to marriage, sometimes, we need time to heal first so we can have time to start over again.. time to learn to love ourselves first before loving anyone. and eventually, this open ending says your life is golden so spend it without regrets...
chae loves infinite so much hearteu this comment though 💛 its 101% of my sentiments to it too☺️ of course as a fan and as someone who was a viewer of this drama for the past months, we would want to give everyone the happiest and grandest ending of all (esp the maknae couple 😭) but no, they decided to make it more realistic. Because in reality, your heart doesn’t heal and forget like magic, it will take time. And just like what Dokyung did, he waited for Jian. As well for the maknae couple, in reality some people are like that, they stay as friends maybe because simply they are best to stay like that. Im pretty sure Seohyun will find her the one later on 🤗 idk... i actually wanted to see more but i felt satisfaction, maybe because i have loved this drama so much in the course of time. I just wished it stayed forever 😅💛
since KBS announced the drama will add 2 episodes, I'm not surprised if the ending will be like this 😂😂😂 thank you MGL Team for accompanying me for almost a year, looking forward to the next drama for Hye Sun and Si Hoo!

Huhuhu. Writernim, you should have given us a more concrete ending. I don't want to express my disappointment but damn, after all the heartaches Jian and Do Kyung went through together, doesn't they deserve a happy ending or at least a much more sweeter ending. I think it could have been better if Jian left the airport and met Do Kyung to accept his heart and go to Finland after she settled the score with Do Kyung. I think that was suppose to be the purpose of the flashback where Jian and her dad was having a conversation and with her dad telling her not to hold back her feelings because of him or their family. And lastly it could have ended with Do Kyung going to Finland to surprise Jian. I think that would have been enough for me for the drama ending although I did wanted them to be wed and have children. But overall the drama ended well but isn't enough to make up for the heartaches and sadness the drama brought us, viewers. Anyways congrats and special thanks to the casts, writer, director and staffs as well as KBS for bringing us such a wonderful, painful yet enjoyable drama. We definitely need a season 2 though.

Can't she run into his arms at the end? Also we needed to see how they will forget their past and her relationship with his family!

Honestly.. for me its the weirdest way to finish 52 eps of a very amazing drama which full of sadness and tears. I've cried so much in yesterday ep (51) because for me its the ending of Dogyeong- Ji An relationship like Ji An said to Dogyeong.. if they meet again it will be like 2 people which never known to each other. Starting ep 52 with 1 year time-jump and made them like 2 strangers which accidentally meet, is really weird idea for me, even when Dogyeong comes to the bar in Finland and meet Ji An. For me its more like open ending not happy ending.. Do I really think they will be together happily eventually after watching that scene? I wont, after the 'hurricane' in ep 50-51 i really dont think this last ep will recover all the painful and sadness in almost 3/4 parts of this drama.. Sorry, but this ending has left me cold.. I'm not impressed.. But I still teary in my eyes when knowing that Dogyeong actually always spied on her at many events.. little concert in the park, when his father died, at funeral, when their doing picnic, when she come home.. and looking at her thru the review mirror. .. Its really touching me and makes me sad...Lucky him that Myung Shin helped him to get information about Ji An. I mean can you imagine hows Dogyeong feeling during this 1 year.. He's treated like a sinner by the writer-nim and got punishment for.. I dont know for what.. For loving Ji an probably..

Anyway I wish there will be 2nd season for this drama, I want to see how the relationship between DK and JA grown up. I'm disappointed with the ending because I feel that JA do not make any effort towards DK, and the writer makes DK as a stalker?? WTF!! Healthy relationship is about take and give from both side, and not just 1 side like DK always did. I know JA helped DK many times, but how many times she treated DK like a crap at the same time? But then I realized I've never been watching any K-Drama as much intensity as this.. we have to wait every week because its still filming and airing in the tv station! I kinda have a special ritual every weekend in the last 6 months hahaha! I've never done this before. I used to watch K-Drama thru DVD or link by friends' reference. And usually it was the popular one, like Descendant of the Sun, Legend of the Blue Sea hahaha.. lately since i suscribed a tv cable in my country i've got 3 channel of Korean tv include s KBS world and I started to watch some dramas. Mostly below 20 eps and different genre hahaha. I even watching Jugglers also from KBS during i follow MGL to get more laugh... hahaha.. Our beloved MGL really makes me depressed 😥😥. I will find your suggestion. It was starred by Park Si Hoo right.. hahaha.. 😍😍. Waiting for another suggestion from you 😘

If I re-thinking again this drama is supposed to be ended at ep 45 when Dogyeong opened his factory because at that time he will totally cut off his connection with the family and Ji An cant claim that he's never done anything for her. Even the fact that his grandpa slapped his father is explainable since after heard grandpa did it Dogyeong came to grandpa, he defended Ji An even he yelled to him and he lost his contract as the payback! I'm also dissagree when Ji An said what has he done to her during his 'escape' from Haesung. He's kicked out from his house with nothing, he has no experienced living outside his family since everything had been provided for him since he's born and mostly his family keep disturbing him by ruined everything he's tried to do. And the other side , Ji An as his main reason left his family rejected him because he is the 3rd generation of Haesung! He tried to survive for his life but at that time he's lost and HE NEEDS support and Ji An helped him after all. But the last 7 eps when he decided back to Haesung is totally dissaster and completely ruining Dogyeong-Ji an relationship. Its totally meaningless for their relationship but meaningful for Ji Ans father. He's become the hero, got chance to pay his 'debt' to Haesung and bring his family's pride back. I dont know probably the writer-nim wants to make him as the center of this drama but IMHO since our main roles Dogyeong- Ji An (they arent a couple from the beginning until the end!) has been in this drama from the beginning they deserves to be happy after all !! Not get this suck ending!
Yesss forget all those 7 last episodes, the writer supposed to be focus to the development of main leads relationships, instead of dragging us with papa Seo cancer stories... maybe the rating will get higher too. But it's too late now :(

Monik Joyo , yess we areee! After wrote my comment I asked myself why am I so upset about the ending of MGL. Its just another drama! But then I realized I've never been watching any K-Drama as much intensity as this.. we have to wait every week because its still filming and airing in the tv station! I kinda have a special ritual every weekend in the last 6 months hahaha! I've never done this before. I used to watch K-Drama thru DVD or link by friends' reference. And usually it was the popular one, like Descendant of the Sun, Legend of the Blue Sea hahaha.. lately since i suscribed a tv cable in my country i've got 3 channel of Korean tv include s KBS world and I started to watch some dramas. Mostly below 20 eps and different genre hahaha. I even watching Jugglers also from KBS during i follow MGL to get more laugh... hahaha.. Our beloved MGL really makes me depressed 😥😥. I will find your suggestion. It was starred by Park Si Hoo right.. hahaha.. 😍😍. Waiting for another suggestion from you 😘

If I re-thinking again this drama is supposed to be ended at ep 45 when Dogyeong opened his factory because at that time he will totally cut off his connection with the family and Ji An cant claim that he's never done anything for her. Even the fact that his grandpa slapped his father is explainable since after heard grandpa did it Dogyeong came to grandpa, he defended Ji An even he yelled to him and he lost his contract as the payback! I'm also dissagree when Ji An said what has he done to her during his 'escape' from Haesung. He's kicked out from his house with nothing, he has no experienced living outside his family since everything had been provided for him since he's born and mostly his family keep disturbing him by ruined everything he's tried to do. And the other side , Ji An as his main reason left his family rejected him because he is the 3rd generation of Haesung! He tried to survive for his life but at that time he's lost and HE NEEDS support and Ji An helped him after all.
But the last 7 eps when he decided back to Haesung is totally dissaster and completely ruining Dogyeong-Ji an relationship. Its totally meaningless for their relationship but meaningful for Ji Ans father. He's become the hero, got chance to pay his 'debt' to Haesung and bring his family's pride back.
I dont know probably the writer-nim wants to make him as the center of this drama but IMHO since our main roles Dogyeong- Ji An (they arent a couple from the beginning until the end!) has been in this drama from the beginning they deserves to be happy after all !! Not get this suck ending!
Yesss forget all those 7 last episodes, the writer supposed to be focus to the development of main leads relationships, instead of dragging us with papa Seo cancer stories... maybe the rating will get higher too. But it's too late now :(

Monik Joyo , she is!! My friend here Jae Lim sais she's probably admired the actor of Ji An appa' s role since ' My Daughter Sao Yoong' and also some eps before ending were meaningless.. hahah
They actually got 45% rating in the last ep but I think Its mostly because viewers were curious about the very last ep. After watching that ep everybody cursed it like us hahaha!! I'm just kidding. I'm not a Korean probably Korean viewers love that ending... 🙄
