Loved the humble approach to the suggestions. Not everyone is a hell mode sweating parser, some just want to have fun and that's totally welcomed in Lost Ark. I would also vouch for Perfect Suppression 6pc Nightmare Shadow Hunter, its floor is surprisingly high and has room to grow if the pilot wishes. It's a swiftness class, so falls off in over-geared lobbies but for homework raids it's a calm experience that pumps good damage.
I appreciate the comment! I thought personal experience and feel of class would help for players wanting a little more insight into potential picks then "This is a Triple S Tier DPS" I've heard very good things about this new PS SH!
You have the wrong 3rd row tripod on LoJ on your Paladin. You want to use Righteous Light so you don't have to hold it. This difference in piety gen is only .02%
Only reason I'm grinding one up now, to help my static group and to start groups and try and mentor newer players. Just a small light amongst the toxic gate keeping but I'm tired of watching player count drop and me not doing anything.
Making SE. Love the theme and scythe and I didnt make her before because I started the game in november so I put the power pass on my first character which is GS. GS will always be main but Full Moon SE seems to be a perfect alt. Super broken in overleveled content so I'm looking forward to making one. On top of it, its just 3 damage gems so it balances out with the expensive accessories.
If you are maining a GS right now you are in for a great time with the giga damage you are about to output with half the effort compared to your main. Have fun on reset!
The raid mechanics is getting out of hand, so much to rememberI can't remember how to do valtan anymore now that I've been doing brel, kayangel, clown and soon akan for 5 characters every week plus this new character, oh Lord, this is too much.
What you think about RS Soulfist for the pass. I heard gems are tricky. But since the rework the visuals are just great. Im in between breaker or soulfist. So hard to decide
I would love someone who has played SF to weigh in here. I will give my experience with seeing others play it though, be careful. I’ve always wanted to make one but there’s one thing that has held me back, 9/10 people I’ve seen roll it have dropped it at this point. I don’t know the reasons, could be taxing to play or maybe they didn’t like the bunch of little hits with dominion and hoping for the huge bomb to hit was despair to them, I truly don’t know. I will say this though. Those who have stayed sf seem to do really well in raids once they get good at it. It’s definitely on my list to check out!
@MyTasy@@IntoTheCrawlspace As a long time SF main, here's kind of why some weeks I hate it, some weeks I love it ... and some weeks I want to main swap entirely. Why I like the class is purely aesthetic and the animations, even before rework, are really nice. If you want to play and feel like a character from Dragon Ball, this is one of those classes. It has 2 builds that crazy high dmg output. EO is definitely a skill based build, you won't see big numbers (maybe if you juice, I am 1635 and have 3 skills that hit 100 mil if they ever crit) OR RS, in reclear content I have hit 1.5 billion dmg bombs. EO itself is THE class that you can express your knowledge of raids and just generally considered a high skill expression build. RS, is lower dmg threshold than EO in a lot of instances if equally skilled, however, RS is no slouch and can out dmg any class if bombs crit. It's nowhere near as punishing as EO so its floor is much much higher. Here is where it gets despairge. At a certain point, both builds are kind of negligible in reclear. Like in Brel. I'm kind of pointless on EO until G4. And the animation of the bomb lasts long enough if an Igniter or FMH SE player is there at my ilvl, I just bomb into DR. For EO, your burst is in forced 20 second cycles and 50 second downtime, you have to play around dominion. Now, 20 second windows aren't all that uncommon at end-game but there are a lot of normal patterns that render H3 essentially a dead state (think kaya g3 or voldis g4 ... and even voldis g2, blood orbs are pointless on EO). If you hype 3 at the wrong time, you literally do zdps for 50 seconds. Guaranteeing your uslessness outside of stagger and weakpoint. EO has the most punishing side of burst of any class and feels despairge every single week for me, in G4 voldis specifically because of mechs that render the boss up in the air and untargetable. RS, way less punishing. You can go spec/swift with enough spec investment and gem investment. This offsets the bombs dmg and shifts more of it into rotational based dmg. However, your peak will always be crit bombs and this being such a long cast, it's not super easy to land if you're trying to hit ceiling per gate. To hit ceiling, you gotta throw bombs outside guaranteed hit windows which can be despair. Like Prunya and her random stagger teleports ... they can just go to hell with how many frame teleports she's done that cost me a bomb. Also, RS isn't exactly a stagger/weakpoint mech enjoyer. It's kinda dented to be casting skills outside of hype. However, all that being said. I personally love the class. It's the most fun I've had on any class I have played. I have 7 total 1600+ toons (SF, GS, Arcana, Striker, Shadowhunter, Artist, Bard) and of the dps characters I have played, she's really the only one I've had this much fun on. Although, I will say ... if you don't like any of the cons I listed, you may have more fun on Breaker. It has none of the cons listed here, has a 2 gem build if you like spec or the front attack version which is essentially GT on steroids. At the end of the day, it's not about balance or strength, it's about what you'd enjoy every day because if you don't enjoy it core gameplay loop, you will hate it and drop it. Side note: For me, I'm more than likely finally making a blade. Although, I might make a breaker instead? I love striker but need to replace him, perhaps. But I also need to replace my GS. Deathblade or Breaker for me.
appreciate the work put in for that insight, hopefully that helps them make a decision! Breaker is just too enticing for me atm to not try it out, but DB is a great second option in this current meta lol
RS soulfist is not a beginner friendly class and feels very clunky if you don't show her some love. I would even say its not a good alt. PRedator would perform great at level 7 gems while RS still feels a bit dead. Also you have to understand and come to terms about the 12 second of hitting autos just running around and that you can only fit in 2 cycles within your hype. IF you can get comfortable with that, feels pretty nice tbh. But the best feeling and why I think people main RS, is to hit a 800m bomb starting the fight. Wouldn't recommend if you dont plan on maining.
I am so torn between Breaker and Deadeye pistoleer. I am a returning player and have gotten my Scouter wich I intend to still keep as one of the main 6 nearly to T3 with all the saved up mats I had before I quit the game for a while. Breaker looks so much fun especially Kingfist and the animations look really smooth and fun to press but the reworked Pistoleer Deadeye looks so smooth and fun to play as well. I want to focus on 1 character for now build them up as high as I can and practice all the new content wich I havent played yet. Its just so difficult to choose. I probably will have both at some point but really want to return to the game with a banger.
That is definitely a tough choice. On one hand you have Pistoleer which is arguably one of the best classes if you are new or returning. On the other hand you have a new class added to the game that is a known big hitter with the most up to date graphics and playstyle since its new. From a cost perspective, pistoleer will be pretty cheap to build, Breaker on the other hand ( KING FIST) is a spec based char using entropy so it will be expensive. Synergy wise, pistoleer will have one of the most desirable while breaker will have the least. It really comes down to which one appeals to you the most, the big hitter street fighter or the Devil May Cry Pistoleer
if you cant decide then make new steam accounts when breaker drops and try him out doing dailies and raids, you should be able to get to 1500 for brel with minimal effort and 0 gold. no one knows exactly how a class feels to them until they try so just abuse the unlimited powerpasses and events with new steam acc XD.
@@NorthInium I’ve always hated the test in trixion when you pick the class. Often times it’s not optimal and you don’t get to experience it in actual raids and doing actual chaos dungeons and dailies. But hey it’s up to you if you got good instincts.

It recently received a buff for its playstyle but with this it was technically a nerf on its potential ceiling of damage. You don't see that many summoners these days. I don't know if I would say its that easy to play. Master Summoner requires knowledge of positioning for its long cast times for yourself and knowing when to drop its heavy hitters when the boss is stationary. It has a pretty cool kit, but I wouldn't put this variation on the beginner friendly side of the class options. CO, its swift variant, is button spammy and I think many CO players are dissatisfied with the recent patch. If you have interest in trying these classes but don't know, check out my summer merge video which covers how you could test a class out before committing to it on your main server!
Im a returning playee thinking between aeromancer or AT drone or Souleater NE....im also thinking about the new t4 content so picking it for mostly that reason suggestions?:D
NE does incredible damage, but you have to like its build and dish playstyle that is pretty repetitive and follows a somewhat same pattern every rotation. Aeromancer has slightly more freedom and just revolves around building a shield with a skill then releasing that shield as damage with the next (assuming wind fury) aero has had its damage boosted every patch and I believe it’s in a pretty good spot at the moment. These two are pretty solid picks, but know SE coming with slight more damage, but aero provides a great synergy for team Comps. AT drone is a great pick, but I don’t know if it has the same flare these other two have. I love mine, but you have to like its slightly more difficult play style.
@@soulbound5732 great pick, there should be some form of event in two weeks if you don't like aero and can switch to something else. Definitley take advantage of the current event tho as it boosts super well.
I'm surprised you didnt mention Pistoleer deadeye in the list, because it's probably the easiest build to play in the game right now. Litteraly you spam your spells in any order (after crit syn, which people like), and that works fine. Also you have double space bar, you're ranged, and you have an overpowered skill in your kit (Desperados). Can be played either full spec + hallucination, or 50/50 crit spec with Salvation/Nightmare, same overall results, but hallu is easier to play because hallu buff, NF can allow you reach boundless and try some things in guardians or some raids and is easy to activate, salvation will have the higest dmg of the 3 and the afk speed feels good, but you need to stack it, and you can lose it. And i wouldnt recommend any Back attacker build for a new player to start with, you need to know the game a minimum for that, so Predator or Striker arent a good option imo.
Yeah Pistoleer is probably one of the best or just is the best new player friendly class to play. Only reason I didn't include is essentially this video is a break down of the most enjoyable characters on my roster currently and how I can see that translated to the new player experience ie cost, playstyle and even effort vs reward for a few. But in a purely new player friendly classes to play across the board , from what I hear atleast, Pistoleer should be high up there.
@@IntoTheCrawlspace I started as DI because it was recommended for new and returning players but imo it was a bait, then now switched to the hitmaster PS one, not that much better
Still cant pick between souleater and Slayer and aeromancer. I have 2 friends that play the first two so i kinda wanted to be different but at the same time i really like playing Dps. Current roster is SH, Reaper , arcanist, bard & machinist Any tips Will be greatly appreciated
Aero dmg is meh compared to SE and slayer. If you wanna pick your new main and push it till 1630 then SE is probably better, but if you’re thinking about an alt then slayer with 7lvl gems is the best class in the game rn. Amazing survivability, amazing damage, swift class so it’s fast af and cheap to build, amazing stagger and destruction
if you want dps dont play aero, you then decide just between back attack or hitmaster, I personally think soul eater is better and more fun (im biased bc i play NE)
Pyatnica is definitely right. Out of the 3 SE by far is my favourite to play. This could be recency bias, but I have such a good time playing. The others are all great picks, but SE brings ease of play with huge damage all while being hit master making it a great time.
yoo im just gona start playing the game and idk what class should i play. i dont want that like op class that can do most dps. i want fun to play and not a trash class. thinking about glavier, soul eater, berserker, arcanist, soulfist and wardancer i just dont know man ? :D
First intention Wardancer and berserker Mayhem are great. glaivier Pinnacle is fun and hits hard but is back attack and if you haven't looked check out the playstyle of Deadeye pistoleer. All of these are great beginner classes and do decent damage. Some more than others. Souleater is somewhat easy and hits like truck.
I will give you a quick overview of the 3. Paladin is by far the most beginner friendly as it’s super easy to use and cast buffs and shields to your teammates Artist I’ve been told is the most fun, it is the newer of the three so its playstyle is more fresh and modern with its animations. Bard is technically the best support in the game but is the harder one to pilot at its peak. Any and all supports are basically insta accept and the most wanted in any party as they are lacking at most of the current stages of the game and basically a requirement for any raid. I’d say take a look at the three, and if you still really like its look and playstyle go for it. Lobbying should not be a problem for you at all. Check out the nexus link in the description for the up to date builds for any and all classes and the basic playstyle and rotations to look into!
you should just make a breaker, deathblade, reaper, souleater or a sup if you dont have one yet. i dont really see any other reason to go for anything else unless you are like in love or something. deathblade and reaper are both fun as hell and strong af. if you dont care about mvp and have old hands then slayer lmao. you really shouldnt be scared away from a hard class if youre new though. even if youre new you can spend 30 minutes in trixion getting the base rotations down then get raid experience as you go. just because youre new or bad doesnt mean you should play easier class. you can always improve and thats were the fun is.
I pushed my soul eater all the way to 1600 and i have no idea why my damage feels so bad I've tried full moon and NE with both 422 and 413 build gems are event gems 7s and 8s and cards los 18 at this point im on the road to making it a lopang alt plz help x.x
wait really?? mine is1590 with event gems, i do have 30 set for cards, so I should have slightly more dps then you, but it should still relatively good. The only time mine ever feels off is when i forget to proc nightmare at the start with an ultimate
@@IntoTheCrawlspace yea im like almost permanent fighter in higher raids even when like progging with some people I play with and the Bible in use im like "damn I'm so low on this chart" like I love kayangel hard and I know the raid inside out but then at the end screen im like wow I only did that much
Can I ask how geared are the others? if they have the gems, ilevel or even klc 30 vs ur 18 that could easily be the difference maker. Which build are you playing these days NE or FHM?
@IntoTheCrawlspace it varies some people are higher some are a bit lower and these days I'm pretty much just playing 422 nights edge because of the less punishing rotation and I prefer the NE skills over the FMH ones.
I personally love the 413 build, one thing i had to learn early on is remembering to prioritize harvest and lethal spinning, specifically in form as they are a giant part of the dps that one may not realize since they don't have the big bulky 100mill outputs like a Guillotine Swing will show. And i mean it was partially a joke... I do forget to ult at the start alot... IF you play with holy men, just try to get a clock on ur avg dps in raids and just remember adren falls off sometimes, that likely isnt a problem since SE is always throwing moves but it is potentially a factor.
@@nefareal4546 Both are some of the biggest hitting classes in the game. FM SE is close to mid range whilst sorc can hit from anywhere. Sorc is a little bit more glassy in terms to health and def but has a blink teleport. I would try out both on ignite since you can try up to 6 characters on there but only lock in one after 7 weeks.
OMG !! You didn't mantion pistoleer ?! That is the best class for new players period !! 2 of my friends who hate the game when they tried it themself (guess with what class ?lol) when i force them to just do a simple chaos dungeon with pistoleer , now they are in love with game , AGS should only let newplayers choose pistoleer and when they lerned the game let them to try other cleasses.
Pistoleer 100% should be on the list for new players, only issue is it ain’t on my roster so I don’t really have that personal experience to share with it. But from everything I hear it is great for new player!
Im pistolieer main 1620 ilvl but its not a begginer class why only cuz of space why cuz space gives you dmg its personal singery skill, second point a new pistolieer will do 0 dmg cuz they dont know how to manage space buff, third dmg is not so great as slayer or souleater or any class on his list so its not really a begginer friendly dmg wive but sure is fun as hell
NE Soul Eater the easier one, strongly disagree. It has a set rotation with little to no variation. Some statements regards of dmg aged like milk with the release of the dps logs
DPS logs been out for a year my guy. This is just a subjective list of my own roster of classes I like and that I think a new player may want to try out. NE is one of the easiest classes in the game and is cheap to build. I think the only change I would make to this list is putting Tai scrapper and any Breaker and removing Striker.
Pushing my lopang glavier from 1540 to 1580, she has no gems at all and she still pulls cruel fighter in hands against people with lvl 7s and build properly, so I’m gonna give her free lvl 7s and lvl 8s and hit like SpaceX space train
Glaivier was on my list, but didn’t want to weigh in with my 4x3 glaivier who sat there since vykas release since it felt a little inexperienced from a personal experience. That being said… every glaivier I play with hits like a truck especially if they got a taste of atropine. I think if you like the class and the rework especially, you’re about to do big damage by pushing it. Have fun!
Perfect no, not anymore, but you still need good qual for the no auto attack 3 spender build no, last I checked it was like 1800 something? Only put that context in there for the cost for new players if they are weighing pros and cons.

Regret making a Shadowhunter over Wardancer earlier on in jump start
oh the most recent one? PS Hitmaster i assume?
@@IntoTheCrawlspace I started as DI because it was recommended for new and returning players but imo it was a bait, then now switched to the hitmaster PS one, not that much better
@jacklau5529 lol that’s how my DI was made back near launch. Everyone saying how fun and easy it was as an alt…
Still cant pick between souleater and Slayer and aeromancer. I have 2 friends that play the first two so i kinda wanted to be different but at the same time i really like playing Dps. Current roster is SH, Reaper , arcanist, bard & machinist
Any tips Will be greatly appreciated
Aero dmg is meh compared to SE and slayer. If you wanna pick your new main and push it till 1630 then SE is probably better, but if you’re thinking about an alt then slayer with 7lvl gems is the best class in the game rn. Amazing survivability, amazing damage, swift class so it’s fast af and cheap to build, amazing stagger and destruction
@@pyatnica6588 that helps a bunch, thanks
if you want dps dont play aero, you then decide just between back attack or hitmaster, I personally think soul eater is better and more fun (im biased bc i play NE)
Pyatnica is definitely right. Out of the 3 SE by far is my favourite to play. This could be recency bias, but I have such a good time playing. The others are all great picks, but SE brings ease of play with huge damage all while being hit master making it a great time.
@@IntoTheCrawlspace true thats why I changed mains
yoo im just gona start playing the game and idk what class should i play. i dont want that like op class that can do most dps. i want fun to play and not a trash class. thinking about glavier, soul eater, berserker, arcanist, soulfist and wardancer i just dont know man ?
What classes are considered supports?
Paladin, artist and Bard so far
@@IntoTheCrawlspace i like bard classes. Would u reccomend me trying it? Will people invite me to groups or will they not wanna play with me LOL
I will give you a quick overview of the 3.
Paladin is by far the most beginner friendly as it’s super easy to use and cast buffs and shields to your teammates
Artist I’ve been told is the most fun, it is the newer of the three so its playstyle is more fresh and modern with its animations.
I dont get it. I do a lot more dmg in trixion with my slayer then with my nights edge soul eater. In playing it right ofc and both are 1520…
Hit master vs entropy, SE just can output from anywhere whereas slayer has back attack factors
you should just make a breaker, deathblade, reaper, souleater or a sup if you dont have one yet. i dont really see any other reason to go for anything else unless you are like in love or something. deathblade and reaper are both fun as hell and strong af. if you dont care about mvp and have old hands then slayer lmao. you really shouldnt be scared away from a hard class if youre new though. even if youre new you can spend 30 minutes in trixion getting the base rotations down then get raid experience as you go. just because youre new or bad doesnt mean you should play easier class. you can always improve and thats were the fun is.
IF you play with holy men, just try to get a clock on ur avg dps in raids and just remember adren falls off sometimes, that likely isnt a problem since SE is always throwing moves but it is potentially a factor.
what is the class in intro
Breaker
What about igniter sorc?
One of the strongest classes in the game currently and into our near future.
@@IntoTheCrawlspace I'm confused between FMSouleater and Igniter sorc for new character in ignite server
@@IntoTheCrawlspace okat thanks for the info
Is there any class for F2P Player who just want to relax ?
Can I ask what you like or playstyle you align with more often in games with? There are a few and just want to give the best options.
@@IntoTheCrawlspace i play too much different games so any playstyle work for me 😅 i prefer girl characters
@@IntoTheCrawlspace i love farming most of the time
Are you brand new to the game or already have tried some chars?
@@IntoTheCrawlspace new but i played lot of game like this 😅
Have fun!

Bless you
Dude just spamming and overlapping Paladin att buffs. Great video tho!
I knew someone was gonna see that aha. It probably wouldn't shock you then that I barely play him, just to invaluable for a list like this lol
qual
yo, update that deathblow spec info, u dont need perfect spec anymore.
Perfect no, not anymore, but you still need good qual for the no auto attack 3 spender build no, last I checked it was like 1800 something? Only put that context in there for the cost for new players if they are weighing pros and cons.
I wish aeromancer wasnt a loli
I made mine look demonic
