Here is a trio of stories in the same vein as my Dark Tales series. I researched and wrote them a long time ago. I didn't want to upload them as single videos because they were too short, so I've given them a home here. 00:00 Titles 00:27 The Disappearance of James Rose (Suffolk, England, 1898) 08:32 The Case of Ethel Kimbrough (Trenton, New Jersey, USA, 1966) 13:12 The Body in the Tank (Whiting, Indiana, USA, 1904)
@@JobyFluorine-ru4bd I appreciate the feedback. I don't think my channel justifies a Patreon because I don't upload often enough. Your second suggestion might be worth a go. Honestly, if I was a conspiracy kind of guy, I'd say that RUclips themselves are behind these fabricated copyright claims to stop people from maximising on monetisation.
@CuriousWorldProductions just found your channel..thank you for very good videos.its nice that you just get on with the stories and speak very clearly..some RUclipsrs have their faces in the middle of the video and waffle a load of rubbish..so thanks for your great videos ❤
Inquests were also held in pubs because, often, once the deceased were found, they were placed in the pub's cellars. These were the coolest places where the corpse would remain without decaying too readily.
So glad you're posting again! In Worcester, my hometown, a man called David McGreavy brutally murdered 3 young children he was babysitting, then impaled their heads on spikes in the town! This was in the 70s, he was sentenced to "life." However, he has been recently seen on day release, and the family are begging that they dont parole him. It's a case I never see covered anywhere. 100 years before that there was another murder in that same house! And Worcester doesnt have too many murders!
@jon9021 Ah, its an awful tragedy. My Dad was a press photographer for the Kidderminster Shuttle and The Worcester Evening News for 50 years, he covered this case and many others, I remember him having to go to Cromwell Street and him telling my Mum what they'd found. He also went to take photos of Terry Whaite when he was released and landed back in England. He also took photos of Jimi Hendrix in 67 and The Rolling Stones, he grew up with Bob Plant.
Fred Hull would not have survived a trip in the empty tanker, as the residual oil fumes would have overwhelmed him. In addition, without ventilation the tank would have become oxygen-deprived very quickly. I'd be surprised if he'd lasted a day in there. By the time the tank was refilled he would have been dead several days. One has to wonder why the police in such a big oil town would not suspect this as the cause of death. This of course leaves open why he would choose to travel in this way, or what his true purpose might have been.
I'm always glad to see that you continue to upload content. I'm also glad to see your content get better and better over time and that you never upload just for the sake of uploading. Nice.
Some very strange stories that prove truth can indeed be stranger than fiction. Did you notice, in your drawing of the old pub at 01.11, that the inn sign's support beam has a bunch of hops hanging from it? Hence the age-old British pub name, 'The Bush' or variations of it.
Wonderful straight forward videos and clearly narrated thank you ..much better than the ones who waffle on and have their faces all over.. have subscribed..brilliant 👍
Awesome! Was just wondering what i could listen to as cant sleep and realized i had a notification and couldnt come at better time. Even better im not far from Ipswich so even better. Thank you as always for your talented and intriguing videos x
I did a Google maps view of the NJ house. It’s got a sign on the door that says “please remove your shoes” and a bag of Fritos in the window. It strikes me how these horrible murders can happen, but, ultimately, life goes on as normal.
Regarding the Kimbrough case , you might check the Newark Star-Ledger of those dates.. I remember this and am sure she was remanded to the State prison at Rahway. NJ to a life sentence. I have no knowledge if she is still alive. NJ was notoriously poor as to these statistics.
You ever sub a channel that RARELY does a video, we're talking every couple months, and when they do you stop everything you're doing immediately and watch that video? That's me and Curious World. Stop EVERYTHING! Curious world has a new video out!!!!
That last one sounds like a mob hit and police cover up. Who wants to bet the oil driver was assest to a smuggling scheme and used his influence in one of the mobs to perform a personal vendetta?
Poor James they aren't listening still perhaps they never will. I love Ethel's story it wasn't that easy to get away from an abuser back then women still have that problem it's crazy.
Wow. That wife who axed her husband and chopped him up - as a first crime, that was pretty spectacular. Good job she wasn't let run enough to keep on marrying.

Yes it was. There's a copyright claim on it. Hopefully it'll be lifted soon, as it's a false claim.

"I think I just saw someone dump a body, what should I do? I know, I'll send my child to investigate."
"And I'll have them pick me up a pack of cigarettes on the way home!"

I have seen a video on that case before. Absolutely awful.
I’m from Pershore originally (went to school in Worcester), I remember that case…

Oh my god… what the in the actual hell 😟
It's always a pleasure to listen to your dulcet tones tell a creepy story. A rare treat... Thanks
Perfect for this somewhat stormy Sunday evening 👌
Can't relate from sunny British Columbia 😎
Fascinating macabre stories. Well done!
Enjoyed the first one as I live in that area of Suffolk and know all places mentioned
What's the story with Maidensgrave? The newspapers from 1889 were referring to the place, but I couldn't find a record of it.
Excellent video again, hope you could upload more often.

Thank you for the upload it's been forever
Glad you’re back mate! This is hands down my favourite paranormal channel 😊
Great video and stories!
Aren't we all but simpletons with morbid curiosity hanging out at an online inn wanting to know more. Love your videos!
Great stories loved them.
Another fantastic video glad to see you back again!
Thanks for the video CW ❤
Wow great stories.
Yes! What a treat!
Your descriptions of the 2nd case was 👍 the way You told it ✔ 👋
exquisite narration as always
Welcome back, my friend!
So hapoy to check the channel and find some new videos. Thank you!!
I love Woodbridge, had a few holidays there

Try Hangman's Tales as well
“Survived by his wife” 😮😅😅
Hmm, just enough mystery to be interesting. Well told!
That Mr Wilding clearly had a strong stomach to take down a rotten corpse from the tree and carry it 50 yards to his shed.
Ive missed your work, welcome back.
I really enjoyed these stories thank you. Yes, it would be great to do a collaboration some time.
Hi Sean. Thank you. Let's come up with a concept. My email is curiousworldproductions@mail.com if you'd like to get in touch.
I’m jonesing for a new CW video. When can we expect another top notch video to enjoy?
The Body in the Tank - looks like someone got away with murder.
I agree. These are some very grim tales. Yikes!
⭐️
That lat suspect Simpson was luuuuuucky!
imagine being suspected for murder only for it to come to light that the guy everyone thinks you murdered was taken out by his own drunken stupidity.
Good video thanks 👍

Ohhh, the way I love you! 🖤
Gonna wait until it's dark outside to watch this
Have been to the Red Lion in Woodbridge, very nice old place
👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
The body in the oil tank - I suspect Daniel Plainview.
Shades of the body that was found in the boiler up in... was it somewhere in the state of Washington?
Wow, that's an old video. Yes, it was Bellingham, Washington.
Wow. That wife who axed her husband and chopped him up - as a first crime, that was pretty spectacular. Good job she wasn't let run enough to keep on marrying.
C#1 is highly interesting so far up there ... C#2 what can one say ... C#3 is horrific
Why did Ethel paint the body??? That doesn't seem to make sense.
The only thing I can think of was maybe she did it to make the body 'blend in' so that it was less noticeable? 🤔 Idk.
HE REMEMBERED THE LOGIN BOYSSS
Why on earth did Ethel Kimbrough paint her husbands corpse? For what possible reason?
Why climb Mount Everest? Because it’s there!
That third story was quite odd.
👍🏻🇬🇧👀...
👍🐿😎
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Are these three Grimmlife Collective tales? This channel has a great AI voice btw. Can you do a Trump one next video?
This isn't Ai. I've always narrated my videos going back to 2015.
Dang, I'm just came home from work and I saw you uploaded..
Thanks, C.W..💖
