If he’s talking about opiates, that shit is even worse. Then you add his life experience to the addiction, to the fame, to the easy access to women, etc. and that can be hard to break. At some point, you become addicted to the chaos and the thrill. The best thing to ever happen to Ronnie was probably going to jail, and you can see that in his songs. When he first got out, his music seemed like he was trying to process it all through comedy of sorts. Then the trilogy comes, and then he reinvents his more ballad style songs to fit the lyrics more appropriately. It’s a sign of acceptance, rather than fighting, what was.
Don said it all at the end "okay I'm hooked" lol Its such a good song and its hard to pick a best out of the 3 I use to say Drugs was the best one but this one gives it a run for its money fo sure! Also Ronnie has been dealing with the hate forever! He went to jail for getting into a brawl at a party. Someone on his side pulled out a gun shot and killed a guy in the middle of this brawl and the law made an example out of him because he was already famous. He was Myspace famous for his band Escape the Fate that he was kicked out of when he went to prison convicted for 5 years but served 3 years! When he got out he started Falling in Reverse which a wrote the lyrics for a lot of his songs on their first debut album while he was in jail and bandless! So to say hes made a turn around is an understatement! The guys paid his dues and not only that he did what every human should do and learn from his mistakes use them to progress yourself in life and thats what he did! But he gained a lot of hate fan along the way it seems like half the fans from his original group Escape the Fate now hate him for no reason at all! Just because hes no longer in that band. So it created a huge divide in that emo scene you either loved Ronnie or you hated him. Also it became to the point where the haters just called him a murderer when they refused to look at the facts he did not have a gun nor did he want anyone to die. He had no idea that guy had a gun and would use it. But regardless he paid for being associated with him. People need to stop believing bullshit accusations and look at actual facts themselves and stop defaming people wrongfully! So this twitter beef that hes in today is just another extension of the same haters that sit around and pick through every single second and word from Ronnies life ready to destroy him! They take things out of context or anything to succeed and ruining his life! He even had a false sexual assault claim that was easily debunked because the girl that accused him was dumb when she said it happened he had like 10 alibies saying he was elsewhere and he had recipes to proof it! So you know people just want to destroy him for no reason its sad! But luckily the innocent will usually win in the end!

Also, accountability culture can be incredibly toxic. It’s really hard to flip the switch that it seems so many people don’t even give you a chance to learn & grow with new knowledge or circumstances before crucifying you for doing something that might’ve been completely ok I; the past. Ronnie did not kill the man, but he was there and had brass knuckles on him. He was charged with concealing a deadly weapon, got probation then violated it by leaving the state to go on tour. There is 2 parts to this reaction. First the history and back story so that you become aware and learn about what the song is about, and then the song after. So sabaton sing about war history.
