This song is actually a satire on the current state of the music industry, and how creators are not fully recognised and also financially appreciated by modern streaming platforms like Spotify and TikTok. For me, this is genius and if they stage it smartly and deliver vocally, they may have a chance of winning the second semifinal.
I've genuinely had the song playing on loop now for an amount of time that most would consider unhealthy. It is my number 1 right now and I would absolutely LOVE if it by some miracle won the whole contest, just to see the effect it would cause in 1 or 2 years.

"Give me two years, and your dinner will be free", "Gas station champagne" - because it takes long for unknown singers to actually pay things with money from their work. And there is so much more to the lyrics 😃

The 0.003 part is about how much musicians receive from Spotify streams.Also about the fact how some musicians have many songwriters,but many don't.Also at the end they are at the parking garage representing hkw thuf it is for musicians that they can go from the studio,the office at the beginning till the streets in the end. I really love this song.It has sooo good lyrics,nice melody and everything else is phenomenally mastermind.I love Austria this year!😃

Yes 100% agree this will be a dark horse, I love this one and will be voting for it. Though I think they need to nail the live performance. They need to bring the same energy and feel from the video clip to the live performance. I also enjoy a good simple chorus as I love to sing along and I think the audience will love this one too, Poe, Poe, Poe, Poe.

Just to clarify in case anyone hasn't said it but Edgar Allan Poe is a famous poet from Boston, who was raised in Richmond, and died in Baltimore. There was a really good movie called the Pale Blue Eye with him in it.
Pale Blue Eye was produced in 2022, Poe died in 1849. Unless the movie studio comitted grave robbery and dug out his corpse, I highly doubt he is in it. The character Poe however, played by an actor, Harry Melling, appeared.

Actually, almost in any funny/jokey/"silly"/etc song we could find some intelligent things, at least to some extent. I only remember one song like this without any substance at all - Estonia 2008, being just a joke for a joke. Norway last year wasn't just about wolves and bananas, they were playing characters, all the way, on and outside the stage, with a story of being aliens and worrying about earthling grandmas being eaten by wolves and etc. Croatia this year is also intelligent enough, a political satire about russia with so many layers. This song too, it's a satire about music industry nowadays, the lyrics about 0.003 are the key here.

The obvious semi final 2 winner as things stand, both singers are talented & experienced , Teya competed in Serbia's 2020 selection & was vocally strong live, I expect a solid televote. Good lyrics AND catchy fun.
I don't know. As you said, every thing goes with the staging here. But would it deserve it? Even I don't know if I like it or not. This is not a secound Little Big, but it is much looking like. I don't know. We will see.

Subwoolfer was great too, whether it had deeper meaning or not they created a whole world around it. Uno was trash. The Finnish song this year was inferior to Subwoolfer or Edgar, fun but still overhyped. Still wanted it to beat Loreen.

They seem to be one of the most honest people of all Eurovision channels. If they don't like something they will say it even if it's popular entry, for example Sweden or Norway last year or awkward Germany reaction this year.
I was waiting for this reaction haha😂 This song is ICONIC! However I was confused when I heard it for the first time. The girls tried to represents Austria/Serbia before (2018,2020) both individually. This year is weird bc we do not have juries in Semi’s 🤷🏻♂️😂 Regarding Pia - she had Covid a few months before ESC so she had a problems with voice. Also she got a depresion bc people said she is not talented for singing. Also Lumix unfollow her on Instagram 😢😂
