funny, i always got the impression the musicians were using the anime as a promotional tool, and it was in THEIR interest to keep that relationship.
I was wondering why Netflix didn't use the opening music.
Apparently, some DVDs have gotten the rights to add it back - but Netflix has not because too much work.
