    I've just downloaded your free pack and discovered your 1964 AC10 Twin B3 profile, and for that alone I'm now keeping the Kemper! I was about to return it. Can't believe Kemper don't include more commercial profiles when buying, many must get returned based on people just not finding the right profiles.

    Love what you do thanks.
    I noticed you didn't have the Kabinet for a while now it is back. I would like to hear you more about the Kabinet. I am afraid getting the Kabinet would end up being fun for the player but confusing when it comes to produce the sound the audience will be listening to.
    What's the point dialing a great sound on the Kabinet if it sounds thinner or different in the mix. Can you elaborate on how you can find satisfaction of the amp in the room pleasure with the sound in the mix quality.
    I think helping navigating both experiences would make a great video.

    • @ToneJunkieTV
      @ToneJunkieTV  4 года назад +3

      I've actually been using the Kab since I got it I just move it off screen sometimes so I can show the amp that I profiled sometimes. Before the Kab my favorite FRFR was the Friedman ASM12. The Kabinet is by far the best! It doesn't have that Hi Fi sound its more true to an amp in the room experience. I'm mostly using it without the speaker imprints so I'm just listening to the profiles and the profiled cab section from each profile and I've never been happier. When all this craziness ends and I can compare it a little better. I haven't played out of the house in about 2 months. :)

    I wonder if the EQ is actually affecting harmonics and overtones more than the direct pitch as a guitar in standard tuning ranges from about 82 hz for the low E to 329 hz for the high E. The highest note on a guitar is somewhere close to 1300 hz.

    • @slash196
      @slash196 4 года назад +1

      The overtones are where most of the action is, that's what distortion brings out.

    Hi HW...
    Thanks for this video which is extremely clear and very useful. Nice job Man! There is only one detail ... my Kemper does'nt show vertical bars for equalization but only horizontal ones for each frequency that is modified. In practice, the entire sequence of parameters is not graphically seen. Thanks again!

  • @ebones7125
    @ebones7125 4 года назад

    Hey Quick tip, just loop a riff so when you are making the changes we can hear them in real time. Even that 2 seconds it takes you to stop playing adjust, say something and play again makes you forget exactly what you were just listening too. Just a thought. Great video's.

    Just a simple question from a Kemper newbie..
    Are the amp settings all set to flat?
    Is the EQ doing all the tone shaping?
    Love your channel and thank you for all the freebies and hard work you obviously put into this

    • @ToneJunkieTV
      @ToneJunkieTV  4 года назад

      Mick DeBergerac yeah in this profile the the EQ block was all set flat we were just changing the Graphic Eq in the x block.
      In terms of amp settings, the definition is around 5 I think. There is some compression and the clarity is probably at 2-3X.

      I have to say this has made a HUGE difference to my sound in a very good way, I'm really getting to appreciate the quality now.
      I notice that practically all the profiles I have tried, remember I'm new to the Kemper, they all sound muffled, even the Michael Britt ones.
      This video has helped massively though.
      Thanks again for your generous sharing and I look forward to experimenting more on this topic

    Mate, have to say I’m an old veteran aust army on DVA pension. Just me and my service dog, as lost 14 yrs married 2 great kids nice house stuff cars etc. now busted up body and more. So just me and my few guitars and few tube amps. Finding all this new digital gets me confused. Even loading the buggers. Have AmpliTube 5.2 and tonex software. Yet told I can add IRS and more. Yet Kemper sounds great just Aust $$ comes to die and they hit us hard on anything musical. Ie wanted to buy myself a 50th birthday present for 3 yrs ago. Received nothing. So budgeted hard to look at either CS fender relic 62 or Eric Johnson higher end model. As a 1 special guitar. As a CS fender of rack $6500 start price. Really hurts Australians to buy nice guitars. Gibson 335 looking $4500 up for current rack price. So big Cost yet want a piece gear that I know will hold value and give me those touches that feel so nice to hold a good CS fender neck and lighter weight body Strat. The EC 7500+, when just a thorpy pedal is $485 up. Victory head 3-4k no cabinet. Big sting. But thanks for this found it really informative 👍. With no trying to push a product but giving real guitar tone nerds as I’ve become more with so much time alone, not having the old jam mates or bands I once was around always someone to have a jam. To now my service dog which he clever but not good at helping with how does that sound lol. Takes abit more effort to keep motivated inspired. But love my music and just playing. Now interface UA volt 4 apple Logic Pro x and ik amplitube 5.2 and the tonex apps. Could you recommend speaker’s for Mac desktop to let me plug in and play if injuries are playing up and not wanting to pull pedalboard and amps out plug all in. But heard people play through desktop and sound great. As iMac built in speakers not same tone. Learn to record both mic amp and try just software. Cheers 🫡🇦🇺🪖

    HW, great vid! Could you make one about how to configure the sound of 2 kempers that are used in a band at the same time, to make the overall sound of the band as big as can be? How do you set it up? One guitar sound with low/high freq boost (mid cut) and one with more mids when they're both playing rhythm stuff? And as a lead guitarist, do I boost the (higher) mids when playing a solo? Maybe record both, put them L/R so we can hear what happens when adjusting the EQ...
