You mentioned (in this lesson) that you think heaven will be so much greater than we could ever imagine. I totally agree. It was never more clear to me than when we read the absolute magnificence of the temple Solomon built from the plans that God gave Solomon’s father, King David. I cannot fathom a building with so much architectural wonder and meaning. Every step of the way was full of forethought, designed with the best of the best, down to the most minute detail. God’s plans for an earthly building were more than amazing, so how can we imagine any less beauty and magnificence in heaven? I silently wept after reading about the temple, awe-struck.

@heartdive Thank you so much Kanoe for all these studies and the time and energy you have dedicated to share Gods word. I started at the beginning of 2023 and have enjoyed every step. Taking it slow and right where I’m suppose to be. Even though I’ve been a Christian all my life there was so much I didn’t understand. Thanks to this study I understood todays church sermon in-depth! I was reminded of your words and teachings. We are so blessed to have this study. ❤

Thank you Kanoe for all you do. God bless you and your sweet family. I'm one of your over 60 listeners here and love your persistence, well or sick, to share Gods word. The hit song, Turn, Turn, Turn was adapted by Pete Seeger and performed in 1965 by the Byrds. The Byrds lead guitarist, Jim McGuinn, had previously arranged the tune for singer, Judy Collins' third album. I remember rejoicing in any bible verses that became secular hits.

I really do appreciate the book of Ecclesiastes. Solomon=Job. We learn from one that physical/business success isn't sufficient and we learn from the other that intellectual success isn't sufficient either. God lets us see that without Him, neither will get us very far. But it's interesting to me that people look at "a time to kill" and think murder. The need for war is a separate line, so we see that kind of killing separated out, but killing isn't just physical. We "kill" things all the time, sometimes for the better, like bad habits or bad relationships; sometimes to our detriment, like an opportunity or good relationships! But might there be a time to kill a person? Of course there is! People do it all the time in defense of themselves or others, but we don't call it murder, so even in Solomon's depressed state (because that's what I see. A depressed, cynical person with twisted truths), I don't think he was talking about murder at all. You mentioned the thought John Courson had. I had to listen to it twice to understand, but it's been my thought that while the people in heaven may not have all knowledge of God Himself, they do have all knowledge of humanity, so when they get there, they will know the outcomes of the lives we are currently living. Maybe, like with God, they are now outside of time and can see us today as well as tomorrow. I don't know, but Courson said there are no tears? I'm not so sure about that part because we know there is a new heaven and new Earth still to come, so while those people may have all the knowledge now, I didn't think we'd get to that point of there being no tears until we are done, done done! As a matter of fact, Tony Evans has a message about those who are cast out of the wedding feast that might throw a wrinkle not into the fact that there would be no tears, but into the timing of when that would be. But that's a lot to wrap our brains around in a RUclips comment, I know.😁Also, I am like you when it comes to the book habit. I try not to buy too many without finishing what I have, but alas, I love books! The actual physical copies over Kindle and audiobooks, please.

I have learned a lot from Ecclesiastes 5. Why and how to fear the Lord. I want to make money to pay off what I owe. I have been asking God to reveal to me how it is a good way to make money. I'm retired and working for a few hours. Things are too expensive. I know that God is my provider and try to be patient waiting for his answer.

In my Greek Bible it doesn't say that it was written by Solomon so I'm a bit confused 🤔..Nevertheless I really like this book. For me it's not like a cest la vie let's live carelessly ,rather it is a book that shows the ephemerality of life, hopelessness and other feelings we have throughout our life. It feels very realistic and its what got me into the Bible (along with Psalms) because I got to see that the Bible isn't about perfect people being blessed and loving life all the time, but it's about people like me struggling, having questions etc so i felt like I was being seen/ understood. Especially Eccl. 3 I was like YESSS this is all I needed as reminder for my overthinking brain ❤

It’s an assumption. In absolutely no text does it say it was written by Solomon, only the son of David. The talk about wisdom is what seems to tie people to believing it was Solomon. Hope that helps ❤

Also, make sure you’re not in the youtube app. If you are, copy the link and paste it into a browser rather than just clicking the link. Make sure you’re opening it in the google docs app when it gives you the choice. Or… you can try from a desktop or laptop. Let me know if this helps…

When he’s talking about no difference for man or beast, that’s one of the places where I get that from but also Matthew chapter 9 verse 29 says according to your faith be it unto you! hello my sister, so I was researching myself and saw that vanity of vanities means: it is translated as "vanity" or "vain" in the verse, can also mean "breath," "mist," or "meaninglessness". In different Bible versions, the word "vanity" is also translated as "futility" and "pointless". so no where did I find that it means kind of like saying Lord, Lord. can you please clarify that, because that is not what is coming up for me, thank you, and by the way I love your Channel, and by the way I mean nothing by this, I just want to make sure we are all on the same page, thank you my sister, many blessings to you and your family. :)

I don't agree with that commentary. The dead are not resurrected yet to be able to walk through doors like Jesus did when he was resurrected. Therefore, since we have no memory of the past, there is no reason to be involved in the land of the living. They are free from this chaos. Why would God allow them to be disturbed like that...just sayin'. Somebody correct me if I'm wrong.
