she should have listened to edward, the hunt would have been over quickly. aw "if i could live my life again, i wouldn't.". edward is right. i pity edward much more then oliver.
same here, it's going to be 6 hours long, im watching it for my english project. i need to write an essay on the theme of it, im pulling my hair out just thinking about writing it lol. but the movies pretty good, so mabey this will help.
@hamfisto: They're the same in the sense that Mrs. Mann in this film is the same character, albeit with the name switched. Alan Bleasdale switched the names of Mrs. Mann and Widow Corney because he felt the names "Bumble" and "Corney" sounded like an old group of comedians or something to that effect.
Jacob Carpenter I also noticed that they switched the names of Mrs. Mann and Widow Corney in this adaptation. I’m the novel, Mrs. Mann was the one who took care of Oliver in the baby farm and Widow Corney was Mr Bumble’s wife. Which I don’t mind at all.
How long is this version of Oliver? Is it 6 hours long? This is such a long version. I started watching it thinking it was just 2 hours long, and now I'm into it and can't easily stop.
How can surnames stand at T and first names at O if he names them in alphabetical order? Surely they both have gone at the same rate, so they should be the same letter. In the novel and all other adaptations it's only the surname that goes in alphabetical order.
omg this baby is so cute
@514lindy: Yes, the part of the Widow Corney (Mrs. Mann in this adaptation) is played by Julie Walters. :)
"If I could live my life over...I wouldn't. " You and me both buddy.
that mrs mann couldve been such a Helena Bonham Carter role XD
Mrs Mann seems almost human here :S

"Orus Twist." "I fear there is an H in Horus." Lmao.
I think that the actress playing the old lady is also in the Royle Family.

@Terephiel Actually they're not the same person. They're BOTH in the novel, but adaptations sometimes conflate them, like this one.
