hm- a little rant- or theory i suppose i thought of when i watched this in the undertale game- in the genocide route, in sans's battle. he could remember how many times you(the player) died, but he didnt feel the amount of effort that he put in when he attacked you. i consider everytime the player loads, they create a new timeline where they didnt die from an attack. so when sans says "that expression....thats the expression of someone who died (number) times in a row" he remembers past timelines. but- (like i said-) he cant feel the effort he put into his attacks. so he doesnt get tired, he only gets tired near the end of the battle. if he COULD feel the effort he put into his attacks from past timelines, in theory- if the player kept dying from sans' attacks repeatedly alot(say 50-100 times) that effort that sans used in his attacks would build up until theres a point on where you would enter his battle after loading and he would just immediately be tired even if he hasnt attacked yet in that timeline
