Mecca is the holiest city in the world in Islam. The city of Mecca and the surrounding areas are unsurpassed in its historical and religious significance to more than 1.9 billion people around the world. Prophet Muhammad (may the peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was born in Mecca.
The history and form of the Kaaba
The Kaaba was a sanctuary in pre-Islamic times. Muslims believe that Abraham (known as Ibrahim in the Islamic tradition), and his son, Ismail, constructed the Kaaba. Tradition holds that it was originally a simple unroofed rectangular structure. The Quraysh tribe, who ruled Mecca, rebuilt the pre-Islamic Kaaba in c. 608 C.E. with alternating courses of masonry and wood. A door was raised above ground level to protect the shrine from intruders and flood waters.
Muhammad was driven out of Mecca in 620 C.E. to Yathrib, which is now known as Medina. Upon his return to Mecca in 629/30 C.E., the shrine became the focal point for Muslim worship and pilgrimage. The pre-Islamic Kaaba housed the Black Stone and statues of pagan gods. Muhammad reportedly cleansed the Kaaba of idols upon his victorious return to Mecca, returning the shrine to the monotheism of Ibrahim. The Black Stone is believed to have been given to Ibrahim by the angel Gabriel and is revered by Muslims. Muhammad made a final pilgrimage in 632 C.E., the year of his death, and thereby established the rites of pilgrimage

Very informative video.. It would be great if u also put up an itinerary and cost at each place. I know it would be very tedious, but it would also be a great help. And helping ummah is sadqa e zariyah!
The Umrah pilgrimage was scheduled for a duration of 10 days, with each day evenly allocated between Makkah and Madina. In Makkah, the focus was solely on performing Umrah, followed by returning to the hotel for rest.
During our time in Madina, we explored a select few places, including the museum, Masjid Quba, and engaged in some shopping. Our primary objective, however, remained dedicating ample time to prayer.
The total cost of the trip amounted to 1.25 lakh, and it's noteworthy that we chose not to enlist the services of any agency.
Assalam alaikum.....although going through an agent may work out bit lesser from an expense perspective, but the joy of doing it all by yourself is a different level altogether...you can book the stay you want and eat what you want and whenever you want, and the move the way you want.....
Can you please give an approximate break up of the hotel, train ticket, visa costs, meals as I would like to plan the same thing

As Indian are not eligible for visa on arrival in saudi
