Pep Guardiola: Tiki Taka!
Klopp: Gegenpress!
Mourinho: Park the Bus!
Ancelotti: 🤨☕
Zidane: Pass to Ronaldo
Ancelotti: L E M O N S
The best thing about Ancelotti is his versatility. Without a good striker and with a lot of injuries at Real Madrid this season, he was able to change their playstyle and adapt and still do well in la liga and get all wins in the UCL group stage.
Big Sam: Just kick it
Ange: kamikaze ball
Busquets, xavi, iniesta.
Oh my world that midfield.
Messi as a false 9.
United in the champions league final (2011)
The most one sided ucl final game
That'll actually be the 1994 CL Final. Barca absolutely wrecked
@@mr7teen922 Barca atleast had a chance but comceded alot. Man Utd just never had the ball
@@mr7teen922 You are prime example of a person getting fooled by a result, proving that you don't actually watch football. What a shame, it's a fun sport, you should give it a try
Liverpool vs Tottenham. Now that's one-sided
I just wanna understand how a player who likes dribbling like Messi was able to handle that technique 😭
I can understand where you come from, but he seemed to enjoy the passing a lot.
Dribbling is just a means to the end, and Messi would use any means to create big chance and score.
Remember that Busquet's assist?
That’s the problem with tiki taka if you just keep on playing 1-2 touch passes you will end up getting stuck that’s why you need a dribbler or a target man/false 9 to hold on to the ball a little longer so your team mates can enter the pockets of space and shift the opponents defence (like Messi at Barca or Grealish at Man city)
I'm more interested on his longevity, playing the same dribbling technique like he thought he is 24 even to this day.
Messi, Ronaldo, Modric, etc longevity are so astonishing. Even Ronaldo, who Pessi fans always joked by being "tapinaldo" can still dribble decently
“Put the ball in that end, stop it going in that end.”
Yep
The fact messi could play this style and still play dribbbling and free style shows how good he is
As a united fan, this still is almost impossible for my team esp. bruno it will cripple his creativity
Kudos to Xavi and ineista they are good, can't see current Barca playing it though
Honestly, Man United needs to get fullbacks who can invert. Their biggest problem is a leaky backline in counter attacks, and as long as they have overloading fullbacks, they’ll always leak goals.
A lot of united players can play 1 and 2 touch. Martial, Sancho, DVB etc...
Xavi, Iniesta, Buesquets and the GOAT
They really are
I loved watching tiki taka get demolished by Mourinho’s Madrid in 2011-2012, a phenomenal achievement bearing in mind that was probably the best club side the world ever saw or close too.
For Ronaldo and Madrid to actually wrestle la liga off them and beat them 11 v 11 in the camp now was great to see, because with Barca and Spain dominating football, you just couldn’t see how they weren’t going to win everything every year. Messi score 90 or so goals in a calendar year around that time.
Jose also dismantled them with Inter Milan too. Rough them up, soak them up and blitz them on the counter.
The fact Jose’s sides held such esteemed victories against them was a magnificent feat.
Jose's Madrid got destroyed at Bernabeu in the 2011 UCL semifinal
They got destroyed 5-0 also but those were in 2010-2011 season. That’s not the season I mentioned.
2011-2012 they dethroned Barcelona of La Liga. Check the facts, and re read the comment before acting clever.
Barcelona dominated La Liga for most of the 21st century
Why? Tiki taka is great. Some real skill involved moving the ball around.
@@NgolaNalane Madrid got 5 champions leagues in 8 years
Speaking of which, I recall Gary Lineker vocalising how well Chelsea were playing by saying "tiki-taka tactics takes Chelsea to the top".
That was the perfect generation and coach for that style of play.
Did you use bowling alley animators for this vid?
How do I know exactly what you’re talking about now that I’ve read it 😂
This type of Football wasnt invented by pep, it was Cruyff
He never claimed pep invented it
no wonder i got destroyed when playing football
Great video
Valdes, pique, puyol, alba, busquets, Iniesta, xavi and the 🐐,all were prodigies of La Masia.
As a United fan, watching 2011 Barca toying with United was utterly painful
The disrespect for Luis Aragonés here...
Agne ball too
If people think tiki taka is just passing, rewatch Chelsea under Graham Potter if you can keep yourself awake for more than 12 minutes 😂
Guardiola Tiki taka
Klopp high press
Mourinho défense bus
Angel Capa is the original creator of the "tiki-taka" style
Guardiola said we didnt play "tiki taka" i dont like this term
Created by luis aragones btw
To execute tikitaka perfectly you need players like Messi, Xavi & Iniesta
That’s why City and Bayern under pep didn’t play tiki taka.
And Sergio Busquets
One touch football right
My dad thinks that Guardiola killed football with tiki-taka, calling it a mutant that originated from Cruyff's total football philosophy
He's right this style of play that everyone tries to emulate is super boring to watch, you keep the ball from the opponent and bore them to death and when they are asleep you get through the defense... its like watching futsal but with football rules 😪
dance vine app
Xavi was everything Busquets did the dirty work iniesta did the magic Xavi did everything Messi aswell they had to be the best players ever but now Xavi is just ruining his image
Pep Guardiola:
"Be yourselves. You need to dig into your own DNA. I hate tiki-taka. Tiki-taka means passing the ball for the sake of it, with no clear intention. And it's pointless.
Don't believe what people say. Barca didn't do tiki-taka! It's completely made up! Don't believe a word of it! In all team sports, the secret is to overload one side of the pitch so that the opponent must tilt its own defence to cope. You overload on one side and draw them in so that they leave the other side weak.
And when we've done all that, we attack and score from the other side. That's why you have to pass the ball, but only if you're doing it with a clear intention. It's only to overload the opponent, to draw them in and then to hit them with the sucker punch. That's what our game needs to be. Nothing to do with tiki-taka."
I don't like Tiki Taka as your full time philosophy and identity. I prefer how Real Madrid used it before during those years where they won UCL 3 times. They would only use it to get out of the press and they did it so well with such composure.
Tiki taka was created by Luis Aragones' Spain in 2008
No it was created by the Netherlands of the 1970s
Pep has turned football into a bore fest... And this euros are proof of that. There has been plenty of videos and posts on social media saying this
Wow
Tiki taka was there before Guardiola
Yes, but you have remind yourself that this Tifo and they kind of do very lazy journalism 😔 (My guess is that they didn't remember that Dutch guy who brought in the system in first place.)
"rose to prominince" was the key word here which implied it was there before but was not as popular.
@KRuStyKxng That's incorrect. All the top Spanish clubs played a version of it as well as the national team. Playing the ball from the back with the goalkeeper was the by product of the system that lead to most (but not all!) GKs playing the ball with their feet instead of throwing it or punting it down field.
@@charlesray9674 playing out from the back or playing short passes doesn't consistitute pure the "tiki-taka" being referenced.I did say popularized and even then it certain wasnt popular. After all barcelona and other academies did train the youths of their based upon those principles. However the "pure" tikitaka was spearheaded by peps barca and them alone. That's a fact.
@@KRuStyKxng most people dont know who even created tiki taka which was created by Johan Cruyff
Guardiola unlinked himself of tiki-taka game saying it's a useless way to move the ball (he believes he have a different game plan)
He basically didn't like the word "tiki-taka". He called it Juego De posecion.
That's basically a whole diferent game where you are searching certain movements from your players to force specific plays.@@ardashirtahershiraj7673
He was inspired by Lillo and Seirul·lo
He hated the name
Artetakka
Most people think tiki taka is just possession football.
Anyone can make short simple passes but possession football and tiki taka are two diff beasts.
TT requires players to understand how to position themselves off the ball, when to run into space, anticipating teammates and opponents, requires players to pass with purpose. Exploit space around opponent.
Whereas possession football is more defensive, just pass around and run down clock and not allow opponent to touch ball.
I do appreciate the tacit acknowledgement that Pep is only as successful as he is because he’s been at clubs with absurd resources and talent
80% possession with backward passing the whole game is not football. The game is meant to be flowing and direct. No one wants a snooze fest! Tiki taka was honestly one of the worst things to happen to modern football other than parking the bus!
Have you ever watched pep guardiola prime 9-12 barca they were scoring 4-5 goals against madrid regularly that can't be done by back passing only.
Barca are stuck in this system and are struggling
I mean mate they clearly aren’t stuck in the system. They’re struggling cos they’re bad at this new system
Where are they struggling?
2023 1st place in la Liga
2022 2nd
2021 3rd (season that Messi left) but they won Copa del Rey that season.
@@dissect123 should I list all the success Pep had? 😅😅😅
@@Football_Advanced new?
Not even cruyff could make players do this. But he gave the means and knowledge to pep so he could. Tiki taka was a golden period but barca dont intend to do it . Barca base style is positional play, not tiki taka.
Haram ball😂
Tiki taka was not originated by Pep and the style was used by other teams before.
Xabi or Iniesta were playing it before Guardiola couched BCN
tiki taka🤢
transition game with long through passes 🐐
Tiki taka is much more efficient and I personally think it's more pleasant to watch.
@@danielcoelho3477 there are only around 50-60 players in the world that can play tiki taka efficently. Its an expensive playstyle
Is man City currently playing tiki taka?
I don't know They are boring to watch.
@@karaboga212not many people can afford quality expensive things 😂
@@renaswin7322nah
and still couldn't win 🤣
Miss the era😂😂
Zidane's pass to Ronaldo is more effective..... Well it's true but the Tiki taka's main aim is to keep the ball away from the opponents not Scoring goals. You only score goals when the opponent defence gets sloppy.
so effective Zidane only won 3 league titles his entire career
