    This 177M6A was my basic to learn about vibrations and I will never forget it. Although today there are those who tell you what to do without even understanding a plotting chart. Amo este equipo. ❤

    A basic/quick explanation of procedure would be cool. So fun seeing the grunt work. Doing a wonderful job.

    The old CH Vibrex set that confused and baffled lots.
    I had gotten to HATE rotor craft ‘til I happen to meet Mr. Helmuth of Chadwick & Helmuth

    Well that explanation “not picking up” is not how that gear works !

      From a R-22 to a CH-53 routinely 0.05IPS (inches per second) is routine and standard.

    Whats up with the hangar bearing heat check? I dont remember doing that on a huey... Maybe a different bearing type? I seem to remember having to feel the bearings on an OH-58 for a 50 hr or something. But those 58 bearing also had to be lubed with a little syringe.

    Hi, why do you have to press the check tune button in order to get the right reading?

    • @kenrobba5831
      @kenrobba5831 6 месяцев назад

      The explanation is in the tuning circuit; have to see it to BELIEVE ! LOL !!!
      The words in the manual don’t quit convey the meaning !!!

    This is balancing, not tracking. Guys, why don't you get some modern equipment? Balancing can be accomplished faster with much better results and your hangar bearings can be much better evaluated with vibration readings rather than temperature readings.
