Accidental shootings happened way back when I was a child so one would think by now somebody would come up with a few gun safety items such as gun safes, lock boxes and trigger locks that could be used to prevent such incidents or that some sort of gun safety education was required for those who are concealed carry to keep their firearms on their person and not just throw them somewhere their children may find them.
